well mixed feelings here, exciting to see the cards are now available but a bit disappointed by how the backplate now looks crowded and busy - I assume those stickers with serial numbers and bar codes will void the warranty if removed?
is the Infinity logo a sticker or painted on? sorry to seem negative! I just really liked the backplate exactly as it was in the preview cards - so close to what I was looking for.
also, will changing the cooler void the warranty - it seems like the 'stock' cooler here is going to be v. quiet, but I have got an MK-26 Black that I could try and still keep the black + shiny nickel theme intact.

its not for me... marketing the card as the best 970 on the market and then sticking a two year warranty on it... If you want to make it the outright best card on the market, give us the whole package including warranty. For me, I'll keep looking at the 3 year warranty cards or the Zotac 5 year warranty.

Yeah I agree, for the premium that you pay, it should have come with a 3 year warranty minimum.

I know its a manufacturers 2 year warranty, but I can't help feeling you would sell quite a few more if you stuck an extra years 'OCUK' warranty on top...

^ Agree, a longer warranty indicates that the manufacturer has full confidence in their product.
So I'm getting a GTX 970 and I've been looking at the big 3 (Gigabyte, MSI & Asus) and now this card has come into the mix, after reading the review on KitGuru I must say it looks like an impressive card.... decisions decisions 
I just installed mine and I lurves it!
It looks awesome and so far is performing pretty nicely too. The temps are pretty much the same as what my 2 580's were getting in watercooling and im gaining a lot more power with less power consumption, cant fault it!
I was surprised not to see any OCUK tagging on the box however. I appreciate its a Galax card but theres a bit about being inspired by Mr. 8 Pack but nothing to do with OCUK on it. Woulda thought you would have put that on there.
Anyway, thanks OCUK for a fast delivery and what appears to be a great card!
Also its worth noting if anyone cares for it but the fans on the card are quieter than my 6 corsair fans (admittedly they are loud). This is however a very quiet card!
Currently idling at 25 degrees.
Now I just need to work out what to do with my 2 580s!

We don't put OcUK logo on it as were also selling this card through Western and Eastern Europe via our group of companies which are know as Caseking.

I wouldnt know if the card was there or not its so quiet.
Interestingly I have a OCZ ZX 1250w PSU which DOES have the occassional coil whine (I couldn't be bothered being a few days without a PC to RMA it 3 years ago
).Its running like a dream with a max temp of 63 so far on FarCry 4.
Just ordered mine, will be my 3rd 970 (inno 3d returned due to shocking build quality IMO and the Asus Strix Died but was awesome until then) so hopefully 3rd time lucky! Will be interesting to see how it performs compared to the Strix!
