OcUK, I'm confused and worried

This thread highlights my need to mod / replace my ATCS 110 for better cable management!

You can do wonders with the case you have, but if your looking to move to a more current case the Armorsuit Lian Li cases are worth looking at. :)

OcUK have in my experience provided good customer support. Even when things went wrong.

Ordered parts for a new PC last year which all arrived fine, and no issues since I built it.

I once ordered a gaming headset which they had on their website as in stock, but when I ordered it the stock went to 0 and then was physically taken off the site...

I e-mailed them to say that if it was so much of a problem I would just get another one, and they refunded my next day delivery as it took a day or two extra to arrive.

In regards to pre-built systems Overclockers have been doing it for many years now, obviously you can't omit the possibility of receiving a machine that falls into the small percentage of systems that arrive with problems, that's just luck and not all problems can be identified soon after the system is built. I would purchase with confidence.

Reviews on the internet are almost always moronic.

I read one for Crysis when it was released and it said

'Game when trying to load just says 'Problem with memory' and crashes back to desktop'. The reviewer then scored the game as 1/10 for every single catagory -- sound -- graphics -- everything!

The trouble is the world is populated with morons..

All I can say with regards to OcUK is the service they have offered me has always been exemplary. They've dealt with RMAs with no qualms and haven't complained when I've sent something back via long distance selling regs when I returned items wrong for me.

They even reduced the price of a 4870 I ordered when the price went up by ten pounds just before I ordered it (ordering late at night isn't wise!).

No complaints from me though I am sure some people have experienced bad customer service, as no matter how good a company is there is always someone who looses out to the odd mistake. Until I have bad experiences I won't diss the company though :).

Also the systems they build are built to a very high standard, you only have to look at the cable management to see the care and attention that goes into their systems. I wouldn't buy one myself (half the fun is building it myself!) but they are very good regardless.

I also imagine a lot of the bad reviews have come from people who have problems with certain viewpoints and the resulting bickering that has occured on this forum. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I don't have to agree with certain things but I won't despute someones right to believe whatever they want.

Frankly, I'd be more concerned and very suspicious of any online store that had no bad reviews on one of those aggregator sites.

I have spent plenty of money at OcUK too. Have been happy with their service and never had any real complaints.

I am very impressed by the quality of the cable management. I hate doing it once, nevermind a dozen times a day! Though I think I have one of the worst cases in the world for cable management - the CM Stacker 810. It is huge! By the time you have stretched the cable across the case there is hardly any slack left to make it tidy. The drives and the PSU are in different timezones.

Still, new build in the new year - getting a shorter case :p

Cheers again, this looks a lot like the Titan Goliath's components, the system I plan to order.

Lol at the 'trust your instinct' pic on page 2.

I've never had any problems with OcUK but one thing that does worry, well not worry, more upset me is the rating reviews on products. Neally everything has got a 5 star rating. Would'nt it be more ideal to include the poorer ratings to get rid of the crap products. The products that get high ratings then actually mean something.

I always look on other sites for ratings before buying from ocuk as the ratings system 'seems' to be fixed

I'm glad this isn't closed.

I ordered one for my dad (free shipping for loyal forum members) and I was really impressed with the build quality it's the most silent running PC I've ever encountered and this from the "budget" range. The cables are very neatly tied up and everything just oozed quality not to mention all documents and manuals and even the spares you get in the mobo box were in the overall box with the PC all in all very happy just asked my dad again last week and he said it was faultless.

only ever had one or two problems with ocuk, all of which have been sorted out very quickly and without a fuss. I cant see their service regarding the pre-built pcs being any different :)

this is exactly a Titan Goliath, well spotted

it is by far and away our best selling system.
We have built 17 today alone!!!

They are reliable and offer great price/performance. plus you get to choose whichever graphics solution suits your needs :)

I reccomend you choose the Dragonlord case, the pics dont do it justice. every one that we have built has looked fantastic.
its a really well designed case!

glad the pics have given you an insight into the system [sorry for my appauling photography :D]

You guys have to build 1000 custom rigs a month ? 32 a day ish how many of you work that ? sod that lol

I love the Shuttle cases.

Must have built about 30 of them over the years for myself and friends.

Glad to see you use a range of cases, not just the full towers :)

Have you got any pictures of your production facility? It would be quite interesting to see how big your facility is in relation to how many units you say you ship.
