I always shower before heading out. I feel really crappy all day otherwise.

Haha, how rude. I just don't understand why you'd have s shower if you were gonna be getting a sweat on within half an hour of setting off! Maybe it's just me...
Maybe in this case, showering the night before will let you get up a bit later.

I know lots of people that do the same as you. Personally I feel like crap if I've not showered though. Nothing wrong with either approach really.
As Shamrock says though, getting a lie-in can be nice too.
