Oh, just the detour up Longbottom.

I also cut off the bits too and from Richmond Park, and switched to a slightly different route though Surbiton. Other than that and the additional little detour down Coombe Lane (not even worth mentioning) it's the same.

I'm still tinkering though.

Does anyone have a Postcode for the start point? What sort of time are we starting this?

I'm coming from Luton...so not sure if I am going to train down, or cycle down to the start point.

Plan is for 9am start. If I am going I will be driving down and I live 8 miles from Luton. It will prob be Saturday when I make a final call. It is 50 miles to drive so cycling would be more I think. I you PM me your mob We could arrange to travel together. I have bike racks and a decent size motor.

Thanks grudas & Calpol for your replies,

Looks like a 3 hour bike ride from where I live, a 2 hour train journey or a 1 hour car journey!

Except I can't fit a bike in my car!

If you can make it Calpol, I'll go along with you and we can sort fuel out etc. really appreciate the offer :)

Doesn't seem to be an option to send a PM, but if you e-mail me should you decide to go, there are links on my profile!

Now decision - road bike or mountain bike? I'm thinking road bike.

Road bike. Road bike. Road bike.

Unless you are the bloke on the yellow touring mtb with frame bag and panniers I see holding 35kph some mornings on the way to work. With knoblies.

Boy does he scare some people.
