OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

I DIDN'T PUT ANYTHING UP OR DAMAGE ANYTHING. If this is the cas I could just accuse anyone who went to my house as damaging anything, when there could be a number of culprits, or just one who wasnt that person.

fun fact, lb records every block you place or remove

Hey brad if you read the OP all the info is there. Click & register on linktart.co.uk. Join the minecraft group & then click register once in the group to register your Minecraft name.

Once that's done give us a shout & we can get you whitelisted asap x.

I will be posting a server update tomorrow daytime.

For now, there really is no point trying to argue anyone's case or make conjecture as to whether or not bans will persist. All people are doing when posting things like this is winding people up further...and it would be nice if we could avoid this thread descending into bickering any further than it already has.

To summarise: Please stop discussing griefing or ban situations, unless you are reporting a new incident.

Updates as in any new patches on the server, the result of any griefing investigations and hopefully the progress on restoration of your damaged plot (and items contained therein).

Would be nice to get a brief post outlining any changes to mods / new mods if you do these type things, or a complete list of them and how they work in the first / second post for newer members. Just a suggestion.

Definitely agree.

I was hoping we could start drawing up guides using the "Docs" section of the minecraft group on linktart. We've used them in the admin group to start drawing up a guide for how to deal with infractions/etc.

The Docs section in the minecraft group is open to everyone so there's nothing to stop anyone getting started on putting some info down.

I don't really use the linktart site so can't be much help.

I think having them on here would make slightly more sense, as the people that see and join via this thread can easily see them and not have to jump about website / website / forum type deal.

The problem with having them on here is that it relies on just one user doing all the updates (whoever posted the OP). Having links to them on here would be best - pointing to the 'live documents' on the linktart site.

In other news, some plugins I'm possibly going to install. No promises on this - the plugins have to be evaluated for stability and suitability before they're installed. This is just what I've found from a quick look on the bukkit site:

Control water/lava flow with redstone

Minecart Mania returning...

Portal gun in Minecraft!

Pistons, as many have requested

Rules plugin (this has been requested by the other admins a few times)
