OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

Hi fokes,
I bought minecraft yesterday and am looking to get on the ocuk server. Halfmad has said he'd vouch for me but I registered with the linktart site yesterday and still havn't received the confirmation email... is this a normal lenght of time or should I re-register?? Cheers
Ohh and which texture pack would be the best to get in your opinion??

You'll have to get them to vouch for you here.
For me bordercraft though im not as experienced as some of the others i think it looks cool

Texture pack wise I have the following as I play on netbook/laptop/desktop:
Glittercraft_2.01 - Great clean interface which runs well on netbook, although it does have the same texture of cobblestone/soil from memory. Still my current favourite purely because of it's simply clean lines.
Misa201 - Very nice although a tad too heaving graphically for my netbook as it's a 64x64 texture pack and doesn't look as nice on small screens as it does on larger displays.
Painterlypack - my first pack, it's very good and can be customised to suit yourself.
Deerwalks Simplecel v1.1 - Very simple and to be honest lacks the charm of Glittercraft.
Remember if you're using a fairly realistic one to get Kainz's custom dll from the linktart site as it adds bump mapping to textures and makes it look rather fab!

Hey Stoo, you would need them to sign up on the OcUK forums & make a post in here stating you would vouch for them. They can also follow the instructions in the OP then for registering on linktart.
Once that is done, you need to confirm that you do indeed vouch for them & if they have done everything in the OP we can look at whitelisting them

You will also need to add you MC username to your linktart a/c. Click & join the MC group. The select register & enter your MC name.

Tefal, I was admiring your monumental bombsite (nice work with the TNT), and found a dungeon that had already been marked out with torches, chests looted etc,
I have half-inched the mossy stone from inside (45), as im quite partial to it (looks nice for statues with LB photo realism texture pack).
Let me know if you want it, or if someone found this and had 'dibs' on it and I will return it.

Have to say went on last night for the first time and my mind was blown by all the buildings, loads of friendly people online (I was ndawn btw)
Joachim was a massive help! He showed me around, donated a couple of items to get me on my way, spent most of my time wandering around admiring the buildings,

LOL I am somewhat colour blind
I was actually just copying a picture off google lol I don't like to get too close to creepers in game
I noticed maxilive's post about making a mini golf course, If it goes ahead I'm up for helping as the Yogscast one was awesome and looks like a lot of fun.
