That's weird because I only did it tonight!

There was kind of a hole there, but I altered it to a creeper face.

Cheers to everyone who helped sort my spawner, I know it was a serious pita. If anyone wants to use it, tp to my home then go by rail from there, only takes a few seconds. It gets an insane amount of mobs during the day, even more when the server's empty, so knock yourself out when you're afk.

Also cheers Zum for working on me roof, only just got the chance to check it out, really appreciate the donations everyone put in.

This is starting to feel like some inane awards acceptance speech, so I'll leave it there... (think the pimms is getting to me)

On second thought, you're more than welcome to use the spawner as is but I'm gonna spend one more day on it (dunno why messing with this thing's so addictive when it's been nothing but trouble.) Freddie, you seem to enjoy dying a lot for the greater good, I could use your help tomorrow for lighting/unlighting the floors when you're about

Yeah I saw it pre-alterations, was going to put a window there but the creeper face is much better

@ Andituk - your hut by the red station is in unstable land. This land is regenerated from time to time so any builds there will get wiped.

If you /spawn to your right there is a small donations hut, feel free to claim a chest there if you need anything specific

I know, I'm not bothered about it, just went there on the balloon and there was nothing but darkness and lots of creepers! Thought a little shelter might be handy.

1.7 will include pistons, shears, redstone->repeater fix and fences on fences. It will not include the new lighting

1.7 includes new cobblestone and clay brick textures

1.8 (TBA)

Trickling information about the Adventure Update
Since 1.8 is still a significant time away, we’re going to have to stop being as secretive about it as we have. We’ll provide information about it as we go, but we’ll keep actual details secret. So, for example, we could say “added two new colors” without saying which ones, or “testing experience and leveling to see if it’s fun” without giving details on exactly how it works.

The update is pretty big, and will change a lot of how Minecraft is played, focusing on making exploration and combat much more rewarding, and bringing in a bigger sense of adventure to the game.

Already implemented are new complex terrain features, at least one new mob, some interesting new combat mechanics, a new lighting engine, and some experimental new gameplay ideas. To come is more interesting farming, bigger incentives to explore, and npc villages.
