Even with the fore update its still going to a black screen after i login ?

Ok a few things you will need to do.

Update Graphics driver,
Update Java,
Find the minecraft folder and delete it
(location in C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft)
then run the mincraft.exe file again or use the web login.

this will reinstall MC from scratch and hopefully then you will be ok.
Try the java and graphic updates first if the dont work then delete the folder
also if you have a 64Bit OS make sure to get Both 64BIt and 32Bit java.

Just spotted on Notch's twitter feed that those new Endermen mobs are basically going to be weeping angels from Dr Who.

They are peaceful until you look directly at them, then if you look away they rush towards you and attack! Should be interesting getting one of them popping out of nowhere in a deep dark mine...

There's going to be some major brown pants moments in the mines soon then!

Even with the fore update its still going to a black screen after i login ?

I had a similar problem and I tried everything. Reinstalled java and my graphic cards drivers about 15 times but the thing that fixed it for me was running driver sweeper. It deleted some drivers that I thought I had already uninstalled and afterwards, minecraft worked perfectly. It's worth a try if you have tried all of he other suggestions.

It's much the same size as when players hold blocks, isn't it?

My daughter wanted to say thanks to 'Funny Freddie' for showing us around the cart system and playing hide'n'seek the other night She's just turned 4 so only knows how to dig and place blocks randomly - no non-supervised playing on MP, her SP map is a total wreck lol

I think, and I'm only guessing from the pictures, that they will go about stealing blocks...very annoying if that is the case!
