What a great feeling it is to wake up and put on a tshirt that has come straight form the dryer

Makes you feel like the hulk :D

better is when you put on the tshirt you wore to the gym (after workout) and realise its all suddenly tight around arms neck and back :D

pritty impressive, i watched a bloke i know set his PB the other week at 183 Kg's, working his way up from about 150 Kg's. Look damn painful, and i dont think he could have screamed much louder! was a reasonably clean lift too. We dont get many screamers down there, plenty of half rep heroes though!

I don't scream much, when I did my 200kg DL I was concentrating on getting the bar up and making sure my technique was spot on - I didn't have the energy to scream! :p I'm in 2 minds whether shouting/screaming helps or not.

im sure i read a report that actually said that screaming / shouting is detrimental to your form. i think it was something to do with the release of energy at the wrong time and of course the concentration of actually shouting / screaming working muscles that dont need to be used.
not sure how detrimental it was, just that it was said it would be better to hold it in and breathe out at the correct time in a controlled manner (basically at the sticking point rather than randomly during the rep).

I find it can destabilize the core muscles if done at the wrong time. During the last 10% of the movement or whatever when hitting failure shouldn't be too much of a problem I wouldn't think?

I demand somebody update my stats :D
