I had a very busy week with a few deadlines to meet and Wednesday I went to the gym rather tired. Squats and Deadlifts were ok, there was a guy screaming like hell with 100kg on the bench press doing some reps while his spotter was bicep curling a lot of the weight.
Since I can usually do 8-10 reps with 100 I just asked him if I could jump in while he rest. I wanted to get done quickly so I started with no warmup and failed my 3rd rep with 100 looking like a complete idiot. So lame to end up with a side of the bar on your chest looking helpless with no spotter.
At least this weekend was decent, managed two new PBs - Squat at 160 and Deadlift at 210. Nowhere near as impressive as some of the guys on this topic but we all gotta start somewhere.
