You shouldn't be buying a top tier GPU at the moment there overpriced and with the forthcoming GPUs soon it would be better to wait .

You could get a 4080 super for £900 about a month ago which isn't to bad imo.

Cheapest ATM is PNY GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER.

Zotac amp is overclocked version

Yeah will wait, all those listed should be ok though for fitting in my case.

Hoping see some price changes soon, keen to build in about 2 weeks time, though I can get some started before the gpu.

You don't miss out on Ray tracing its not as good at it as Nvidia which also has better upscaling technology called DLSS while AMD is FSR

Gotta talk about price as you can get the xfx speedster 7900xtx for £780 but it's longer at 344mm.

If it gets you the frames you need at high resolution then why not take advantage of it .

Both companies do it to achieve this.

Some of these brands I've not heard of, so I keep skipping them. That one is to deep for my case though, but good price!

XFX having been making components for a long time, mainly PSUs and GPUs

As for case just get a slightly longer one if your interested .

Just checking my cases wiring, and notice despite the quick installation guide showing a reset sw, power sw, hdd led, power led + and - as separate cables, I seem to have a connector that just says front panel, looks like it’s all conveniently all together as one connection.

It connects all the switches in the front of the case like power led ,on off power,reset, etc

Paperwork showed this and watched a video of a guy connecting them separately, they must have changed it at some point.

depends on the case, my case has loose cable for switches, ac97, hd audio, but another case has front panel block.

Just to clarify you haven't also got any cables that have those markings in that picture.

Not that I can see, just the usb ones, hd audio, integrated fans. They all fairly thick cables, the only cable with thin wires is that front panel connector and the integrated fans

Always best to double check I would hate to give you incorrect info and then it cause issues with your pc.
