I can't remember the reason for Shayper posting/buying the present late, but I think there should be no excuses really. We drew our secret santas on 14th Nov, deadline for posting was 9th Dec. It is now 8th Jan, surely even if Royal Mail **** up your delivery, you should have realised long ago and followed up with them?

It just annoys me that recently people seem to want to use any excuse to jump straight at people. I've noticed this in a lot of threads, with the words attention seeking and trolling being fired off for no apparent reason, not just at me but at others too. The community has always been stellar here, but over the last month or two it has been going into decline
Innocent until proven guilty in my books. It's badly stacked against you, and doesn't help that you don't have your receipts, but since you could be telling the truth I reckon the only way forward is to set a deadline. If it passes with no present arriving, perhaps not a ban, but a suspension is in order until everything is sorted. That would be fair in my eyes, and if you agreed to it (assuming the mods etc were onboard) then it should keep the hounds at bay

I agree with Innocent until proven guilty but the fact is we can't prove "guilt" here as none of us were tracking him 24/7 for the past 2 months. The only way he could prove his innocence is to provide receipts which is lacking so we can only take him on his word. Thus it comes down to what is more probable. Is it probable that it was lost in the post and got sent home, and for the sake of 75p he could have sent it recorded but he didn't yet he can afford all those nights out. Or was it more probable that he simply got carried away with having fun and just forgot.
I love to believe the former but for the sake of 75p...the latter is more the likely scenario.
Objectively speaking of course.
But I have met him and I like him and I DO believe his story, subjectively speaking and I have no fear that he will send it this week and let give him time and once its sent and that'll be it. No suspension needed and lets draw a line under it.
