Ahh just seen the pics of it in the FT02... pretty annoying i guess... ah well...

Danielanthony - any room for another fan under the rad? (You have the same case / psu as me)

Yeah there's room, but the supplied screws aren't long enough to go through the plastic holding plate, the fan and into the rad.

I bit the bullet and ordered the 240mm with the Black Ice upgrade

Does it come with 8 x large screws to secure the fans? What if I need to buy more screws for push pull? Can someone let me know the correct length and diameter please?

Thanks

I got this cooler with the radiator upgrade, unfortunately it didn't fit in my FT02 where the Corsair H70 did on the top 120mm mount so I had to replace one of the fans at the bottom. Luckily I didn't get the 240mm version to go down there as it wouldn't fit due to the size of my EVGA 780 SC card.

I think one of the tubes may be too long, plus there's still an air bubble despite me taking the cap off, running for a few hours before topping up again. My 4770K idles at 28c and goes up to 88c in prime at 4.2ghz.
Good to see that it leaves the top x1 pcie slot unobstructed on the maximus VI formula.

It comes with 8 for the fans, you have to supply extras yourself for push pull.

I have the same as you've ordered.

Even at 1.42v it keeps my Sandy at around 70C after 30 passes of IBT on very high.

Right, I've shortened the cables and forced through the screws to make a push/pull configuration:

Just bleeding the loop at the moment, I ordered some XSPC screws to fit the new fan with but they don't fit (too narrow). Does anyone have a link to which screws this rad needs? It came with 4 but I'm having to use two in each fan at the moment...

i really want to see a comparison between this and the h100i

This would win, seriously that's like saying you really want to see what would happen if Justin Beiber fought a Tyrannosaur, the outcome is quite obvious :P this has a much much better rad and so can better transfer heat from the loop to the air, that means better cooling for the CPU as it's more efficient of getting rid of the heat the CPU is generating.

Quite a high temp. Maybe you need a push-pull for that thick rad..

Push/Pull on a low FPI thick rad like the SR1 is pointless, they offer very little airflow restriction hence being great for low speed fans.
