Well guys I must say that I really like mine (standard 240 with orange fluid). Found it to be 3 or 4c better under load with my [email protected]/1.26v than my noctua D14 with the pump at 5v for low noise operation.

Please note that this seems to be an extremely good chip though. Keeps it at about 60c with liquid metal applied when being stressed (and after an hour of BF4 no core goes over 50c)

Mine is not a typical situation though ;) Overall I'm pleased with my purchase, and it looks cool as hell!!

PS This is also with very quiet fans attached too!

Did you delid and apply new TIM, or is the standard Intel toothpaste still there on the 4770k?

If UK reviewers are proving unreliable or problematic (and there are few good ones), why not get Caseking to arrange for one of the (many) good German sites to review one in the mean time? They provide a lot of hardware for reviews anyway, to European and UK sites.

Given the way most German operations run, I doubt it'll take them 3-4 months of pfaffing around to then produce no review.

P.S. Caseking.de is OCUK's parent, if people are unaware.

nice idea but still a faff , simply send it out to a member or give 8pack something to do

Would this stand up to the challenge of adding a GPU block to the loop, or is the radiator/pump not really designed for it?

No problem. I hope it will help.

I would look outside of the OCUK forums toward OC.net. I found the 350d owner's club topic on OC.net. Take a look http://www.overclock.net/t/1401102/corsair-350d-owners-club

I am sure someone will have asked the qn around maximum 240 rad size etc and someone will have answered it

Also this is the link for the Eisberg (the pump that OCUK uses) owner's club. Some answers may lie in there also

[I hope I am not breaking rules pointing you there]

Nice 350d build. It seems that a larger rad can be fitted to the front? Get creative ;)

Hey I read through the entire thread and a lot of members would like to see the performance of the Eisberg.

This is my 30 minute bench with the Eisberg 240L. The Fathom 240mm should out perform mine since it's equipped with a better radiator and fans.

I have both a 240 radiator and a 120mm radiator and the Eisberg is not struggling at all. I wouldn't hesitate to add a GPU block to my loop if my card was reference.

One of our member is adding a Asus R9 290 to his loop hopefully he will have some info on how it performs here soon.

this is the best news ever.

Yep that's me :) I actually found this thread by accident but I'm glad I did since the Fathom is awesome.

I guess i got in trouble though since i'm not able to post in other treads :(

It says you are just "Registered" so you are not authorized yet.

Wait a day or two so people verify your account. I'm sure you'll be fine posting anywhere after that. It took me a while too as I did it during the weekend.

Thanks for your info by the way: Could you give an honest opinion on the eisberg pump on 12v?

I run mine at 12v and dont have a problem with it. It does get noisy when your filling the loop and the pump starts sucking air. IMO its not that loud once all the air bubbles are removed.

The pump does produce a hum so its not silent but its no where near as loud as the pump in the youtube video that everyone likes to refer too.

Even in my video above, the pump sounds louder then it really is. I was actually surprised how amplified the sound is after filming it.

A few members run the pump at 7v and 5v but the performance is not affected that much.
