I set up my quest using a fire HD tablet with the play store sideloaded. Wouldn't let me set up the quest 2 when I tried because it refused to believe I had location services enabled. Had to use my phone. So it may be possible, but a phone is a safer bet.

they were separate, this is 120Hz over Airlink an increase over the previous 90Hz
Only VD had the 120Hz option previously.

V29 update landed.. If your having problems trying to get the new menu layout after updating try switching to light theme and then back to dark

Also if youve having issues getting the 120hz option to show in the oculus software, switch to 72hz and then back again and the 120hz shows.

Little 2 week update. Ordered a GOMRVR Halo strap and facial interface, along with an Anker 13000mah power bank (busy printing a mount for it now.)
Game changer, now almost as comfortable as my CV1 and no 'nose-issues'
Using some Creative Soundblaster headphones that were sitting around unused and sound quite decent.
Misses has tried Beat Saber for the first time. I think we're going to be fighting over the Quest. Maybe I'll need to buy her one too
So, after initial disappointment at all the stuff I had to buy to make it usable, I'm now pretty satisified.

Running MSFS last night via AirLink and there seemed nothing I could change that allowed me to have the game's sound coming out of my speakers and TeamSpeak in the Ouest2. I'm sure I did this in the past but was it using VD or have Oculus broken this somehow? Didn't matter what sound device I made default in Windows all sounds came out of the headset. In the end I had the headset sound disabled so sound came out of the speakers.
Any thoughts?

Got my quest 2 yesterday,, I havent played anything on it yet just a few videos,, and its amazing,, you cant see the pixels/door effect anymore and you can read small text too... Upgrading from the DK2..

There's only the brightness slider by default, but I did see an android tool that lets toy make further adjustments including making the image negative. I'll try and find out where I saw it.
i have a few games that i played on my dk2 like "lucky's Tales" now I can play these games when connected to my pc with cable, but is there anyway to copy them to the headset so you can play them standalone? As I cant find a option that transfers them to the headset, and I cant search for these games in standalone mode?
