The varjo is fine thx, i like it. Binocular overlap isn't as good as quest 2, not as easy to take on/off, audio not as good as quest 2 (!), has distorsion (but its v minor) unlike quest 2 which has none, has smaller vertical fov, costs 7 times as much, no wireless.........But the resolution and clarity is awesome......yeh that's why I bought it lol. Seriously, its display is really good :)

Yeh the quest sold quickly, i just think the demand for them is so high. Yeh there were loads of others for sale too, i priced mine at £249, the buyer offered £210, i made a counter offer of £239 which the buyer accepted. Wish my 8kx would sell so easily.

Damn good job on the sale! Sounds like the varjo has lots of negatives but the display more than makes up for it, which is cool :D
 
Spotted a new update on Pistol Whip, with a new 'Encore' section with 2 new maps. Both are really good songs/maps though. There are also new styles and modifiers.
 
Anyone have all their paid apps disappear? I bought several games through the oculus website, and have been using them for several weeks. Now they have all vanished, and it says I have made no purchases. I have only 1 headset, and 1 Facebook account, with which I log in. No one else has used the headset but me. I use my real name on facebook, and have not been banned. Also, all payments via paypal/credit card are all present and correct. Anyone have any ideas?

They're having issues at the moment, it's all over reddit. I've not even tried using my headset in the last couple of day.
 
For those interested, you can get the Vive Deluxe Audio strap for only £49.99 currently from a popular online store... 3d print the mount or buy one off ebay to massively upgrade your strap!

Iv been having the same issues on quest 2 and the Oculus PC app for 2 days now, Iv spoke to Oculus support its a known problem and there working on it..Only affecting certain people i think

Ah damn that sucks :/ might be some unfortunate outliers they still have to deal with. I was lucky and didn't seem to have the issue but I hope you're situation is resolved!
 
Is it still worth getting a Quest 2 for PCVR and standalone? - there's nothing to compare on the horizon?? - I have a 3080 and soon to be installed 5800x. my eyes are quite close together too (I know IPD isn't that adjustable). I plan on using it cabled (with the cable that charges..)

Does VR still work in squadrons? Half Life Alex work OK on the Quest? Are there any good shooters? Can you up the bitrate on wifi? I have a wifi6 antenna on my mobo...

Is it worth getting the elite strap/strap and battery
