The Samsung Gear VR is pretty darn good and that runs off a mobile phone. I'm sure the PS4 will do VR fine!

yea this pretty much ive got the samsung vr and its amazing, dreadhalls scares the absolute crap out of me, it really is so so immersive its hard to explain how good it really is until youve used it
There is no motion tracking with this though - Tilt your head to the side and your whole image also tilts to the side, thats is hardly like reality and makes for a very nauseating feeling indeed. Believe me, it happened a few times with my Oculus DK2 and I had to rip it off my face because I felt like I had been on a boat for a week.
The same with moving forwards and back, the image moves with you instead of it pinpointing your head. Not a fun feeling! - Although for £70 or £80 I suppose its a quick step into the VR world, be it one that makes you ill

depends on the person i guess, i feel fine on it and so does my misses although my dad felt sick as a parrot when using it lol
Now thats interesting, I've just received 2 emails that Oculus have "resent" as confirmation emails due to some people not getting their confirmations on the day. However, the two emails have two different order numbers in them, one is a 00032 number and the other is a earlier 00027 number. So it appears in the troubles the site was having on the day, that I managed to place 2 preorders, one of which is on the earlier shipping dates

I also feel completely fine. I played through the google 'Cardboard Design Lab' app which shows you the effects of VR and what to avoid. It got to the stage where it froze everything on screen and told you to move your head to see how unsettling it felt, but I was more unsettled with the fact I didn't know what it was talking about

It does say 1 per customer so just fire them an email.

Tbh will grab a cheapish pci-e one and can plug all my other stuff into that and just use the mobo ones for oculus.
Yeah that was the first thing I did, I see on the Oculus forums that there are a few other people who seem to have multiple preorders too as a result of the website issues on the day.

They aren't. The standard IO panel is on the rear. There is also a front panel breakout box which will fit to the front of a case using a drive bay which has an HDMI and couple of USB3 ports which means plugging the device in and out will be much easier. A pretty neat idea tbh.
Very neat.
But no doubt this front breakout box will add about £300 to the card though and it will retail at ~1k
People still have front panels?
