I just received my your Rift is on its way email, very suprised my shipping date was not till the end of June with a xxx339xx order nearly 4 hours after preorders opened

Excitement levels through the roof :)

Received my Rift yesterday.
Packaged very well. Opened the box and carefully lifted out the headset. Holy ****, this is beautifully made. A work of art compared to my Vive. The weight and materials are in a different league altogether. Anyway, it was a quick setup process as I already had a DK2. Quick firmware update on the sensor and I was away. First thing, it's so comfortable. Very little weight on the cheeks. Had a quick blast around in Elite Dangerous.
I originally planned to have a little time with both, see which I preferred and sell one on.
I fear that might not happen as they both work extremely well for different reasons.
The Rift will be my seated VR for Elite Dangerous and possibly Project Cars, and the Vive for room and controller games.

You are all gonna be so happy with the wait for the unit. Have fun!

Got the shipping update email today :D (order being processed soon so make sure billing etc is correct) However my eta is 1st August and we are in early June so thats odd but great :D

keep an eye on the MM if you are after a fairly cheap DK2 :D
 
Recieved my "your Oculus Rift order will be processing for shipment soon" email, and my ETA was 4th-14th July. My order date was 7th January.

Any idea how long it'll be?
 
Received my Rift today. Not had much of a chance to play with it - internet been really slow last week or so, so busy downloading few games and other stuff.

But even the 3 or 4 wee demos just after set up.... All i can say is....

MY WORD! I am sold on VR.
