Oculus Rift

Folks, how do I add you to my friends list? Steam or Oculus?

Feel free to add me as well :)

Steam: RockSteddie
Home: R0cksteddie (the 0 is a zero)

Due to having a 2.5 year old to contend with I don't generally get a chance to play until later in the evening though, normally from 9:30pm (if I can keep my eyes open!).

Cheers guys who gave their names, I will do the same later also!

Isnt there a VR names DB sticky? We should do one really.

It was very funny when I tried rec room, (haven't played it yet properly).

Wasn't sure if my mic was working...

So I looked up at one guy and said.. "Can you hear me?"

"Yep loud and clear" and hes waving at me also.

Very cool :)

Cant help but wonder where this will all go in 20-30 years time.... (Ready Player One...)...

Anybody here using there Rift with assetto corsa and a thrustmaster t300 wheel ? its just i cant get the wheel to work when using the Rift

Any tips welcome thanks :)

My Optic PC & Rift bundle arrived at lunch time. I've just set it all up and been through the tutorial with the little robot chap... all I can say is WOW! :D

VR is a game changer this is the first genuine new gaming experience I've had since Half Life 2 with the physics and the gravity gun!

The unboxing experience was really great too. This much tech for £399 is insane value.

Now I need to find time to play some games and not just the tutorial :p

That's really odd. Do you have the wheel plugged into any USB ports that are sharing the same USB controller that any of your Rift hardware is plugged into? It's all I can think of - using the Rift shouldn't have any effect with your existing peripherals, so maybe it's a USB bandwidth problem.

Set-up went A OK
No problems at all(except could not get controller to register :(.....Put battery in right way round Idiot :o )
Watched/played the into/demo with the little robot
tried google earth nice!
