I actually enjoyed my first match there, no real bugs or anything. Had a few problems getting used to the controls and got a 7/14 k/d as I was intent on getting a kill from the RPG. Enjoyed it more than MW2 though, and more accessible straight away than BFBC2..

Still got to play a couple of hours to see if I change my mind.

yep I mentioned earlier in the thread that DICE were brought in to code the MP which can only be a good thang!

Well im not running it with the HBAO (or whatever) switched on nor AA above 1* this gives me anything between 20-50fps. Playing BC2 on the same rig makes the PC break so I have to force Dx9 and put all gfx settings on low to get 20+fps

Every time I enter a server the graphics all flicker and spin around, totally unplayable.

Anyone else get this?

ATI 5870 running 10.5, 10.6 did the same :/

u mean ur soldier is spinning? if so make sure any throttle have plugged into the PC is set to the middle.

yeh, unplugged my joystick and it worked. Will see if it happens again.

The game feels really slow, like they halved the speed of BC2, not sure I like this slowness in this twitch FPS.

Why no lean or prone?

Not enough buttons on a gamepad.

Just had a round, did alright. Obviously being a beta I cant really comment on graphics and such but looks a lot like BC2 but a bit worse and performance is pants. Not sure I like the complete lack of recoil on the guns either but time will tell. Oh and the menu is utter utter garbage

Heh. Seems like they have a lot of work to do. Some people say performance is pants, others say that it runs better than BFBC2. Some people say it's slow, others say its fast. Is kind of funny really as it seems like some people are playing a completely different game than others.

I didn't notice any reduction in speed.

In fact, the devs have said that it's a bit faster.

Is that how they do it? Well, no buttons for lean at least.

MoH actually runs a lot better than BC2, usually above 100 FPS on max settings while BC2 is around 60 with a few settings on medium.

Seems slow to me, maybe as I am comparing CoD. Maybe it will be better when more people are playing and with better maps.

At the mo, it's a lackluster 5.5/10 for me.

I agree, maps are too small.

The maps are very linear, which makes a huge difference to the gameplay.
