Quite liking this at the mo.

Has anyone else unlocked the G3 and found it to be awful?!?

It seems realllly week and takes about 4-5 shots to kill someone, rather than the 2 shots (with hp bullets) that the other semi auto snipers take?
 
Have played this for a bit now.
I was thinking twice about getting it after hearing mixed words. However I love it. Haven't enjoyed a shooter so much in ages.

I like how simple it is. No faffing about with remote control cars, vehicles, silly perks, noob/nade spam. It feels back to basics and I like that. It strikes me as a very much clan game and I hope they push that. Matches could have so much potential. It reminds me of promod cod4 or whatever it was called. It strikes me as one for the hardcore rather than casual public gamer.

Sure it's definately not perfect but it has had some seriously harsh press from some people. It seems to have suffered from being penciled mark by cod/bf. It is neither. I like the map sizes, if you want to play a big map go play bf. seems madness to me.

Just finished the SP campaign and reckon it did pan out at around 5 - 6 hours. That's around £6 per hour of entertainment.

Now without posting any spoilers is that really the ending?? Thought I'd gone down the losing path... Definitely a WTF moment!

TFU why do you always choose the worst modes to play? Your BFBC2 server was always Rush, and now you have your MoH server on that dreadful campfest moan you play, yes they are all campfests but that one is easily the worst, stick it on a rotation or something please.

Choose another server then.
 
Well I just finished the SP Campaign on the hardest level and I just didn't find it a challenge. That's not me boasting either as I usually play on Experienced in most FPS Campaigns. What was the biggest disappointment was the end sequence. Kill a few bad guys and then que the credits. Really let down

We have 2 severs mate.

One is all modes the other is Combat Mission. ;)

/edit Rush was awesome. :P

We try and keep it moving at a reasonable pace, e.g. attacking anyone just camping will be slayed/kicked because it hurts the game.

Hopefully there will be plugins for limiting the snipers etc so we can push them into attacking that way.
 
Have you changed the other TFU server? Was just objective raid last time I looked.

Don't mind combat mission now and again but prefer servers with a mix up of sector control, objective raid, combat mission.

Me too, the only mix servers i've found dont include combat mission for some reason, i've yet to find a fully mixed game mode server which would be perfect for me

it truly is an awful unlock, agreed... MP7a1 with the combat scope and upgraded bullets is really all I use now altho I do like the f2000 with supressor for the phutphuts :D

The second TFU one has all modes I believe.

There is the Combat Mission one and the All modes server.

/edit Just noticed it wasn't for some reason.

Changed it now so all modes does now infact have all modes. Anyone jump and test for me? I'm at work :(
 
One thing the next patch needs to fix is the stupid sniper rifles.

They need to be nerfed asap, or at least give server owners the option of limiting them, or even turning them off.

Game would be epic with no sniper n00bs.

Its probably going to be down to admin tools.

A nerf is in the works according to a tweet by one of the devs.
