This would be extraordinarily expense to stage. However, it will fast become one the most glamorous venues on the F1 calender, alongside Monaco.
I too would love to see a London Street race. I don't think there would be any doubt that it would be a sell-out.
I don't quite understand what fascination people have with Donnington. I've only ever seen 1 F1 race there and I wasn't particularly impressed (the fact that it was soaking wet, may have something to do with it). I like Siliverstone as a racing track and would be happy if F1 races could be staged there.
Perhaps someone could fill me in as to why Donnington is so highly rated by people on this forum?
Donington was only the scene for one of Senna's greatest ever drives.
It is/was a great club and national circuit with excellent viewing. It's also an excellent track day circuit with challenging corners.
