Glad the stewards finally found their balls and came down hard on Max's nonsense today.

Almost felt like Max was just goding them into it with his comments in and after the race. Like it was a test almost.

Amazing and unstoppable performance from Sainz this weekend. Very impressive.

Perez reaches a new low. Last in his home grand Prix, couldn't even set his car in the grid box, and then an embarrasing attempt at a fastest lap when Leclerc was trying the same thing. He has to retire.

Lol, what? I guess mathematically I am richer than Elon Musk.
Norris looked like he had the pace for 1st but was held up by Max and ran out of laps.

Max got penalties, which put him 6th but cost Norris time. Max was never finishing higher than 4th, but costing Norris 1st is worth more points to him. 25 - 12 vs 18 - 8. That's a 3 point difference in Max's favour.

I'm surprised you missed that given the mental gymnastics most Norris fans do ;)

Even worse, he was contesting a false start. Which we know is always a slam dunk. He didn't even accept it when told about the box.

I get some mistakes. But lining up in you box must be f1 101. It's something you'd think you'd have a checklist your engineer or just your own brain would run through every time.

Unbelievable

Perez in the post race interview was asked how worried he was that this will be his last Mexican grand prix and off the top of my head he said:

"Zero. I will be back here next year going for the win".

Yeah, not sure about that.

Maybe there is a Mexican equivalent of a Parkrun going on and he’s aiming to win that?…

So you don't like being called out on making up rubbish, so start trying to insult people awesome. You remind me of Donald Trump that's fair right?
You put yourself and Elon in the same sentence - I'm not here to debate personal heroes.

I stated a completely realistic scenario that you weren't able to process and got defensive on.

Eh? You literally made up a load of waffle to somehow make out like Max did well, compared to what he would have done if he didn't get a penalty. Sorry to break it to you, no matter how you do it Max lost out to many points that he would have had, if he just drove within the rules. You'll have to explain to RB bosses how he did well, I am sure they'll take you on no problem with that sort of mental gymnastics.

Never said he did well, just highlighting that the penalties didn't do much. I guess you're just here to hate on other drivers/teams; seems like a weird way to enjoy the sport.

Erm.. there is no hating, just cold hard realism. Making stuff up is a weird way to enjoy the show (its not a sport until they fix the rules and stick to them).
I guess mathematically Max still came out ahead, assuming Norris had the pace to pass Carlos.

That was your first comment, explain exactly how Max came out ahead when he would have certainly finished higher than he did without 20 seconds of penalties? He finish 59 seconds behind the race leader, and 25 seconds from 3rd place, I am pretty sure if he was close to 3rd he would have pushed harder. Take of the 20 seconds, and he's 5 seconds behind 3rd.
