**Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

new beta BIOS 12B02
Supposedly 4GB memory capability improved, general chipset latency tweaks, and a few other minor changes such as Firewire transfer speeds being improved, use at your own risk.

1.1 - 1.6

If yours is not changing, just suggest you clear the bootblock when you flash and set the clear switches.

AWDFLASH.EXE M629B_11.BIN /py /sn /Wb /cd /cp /cc /CKS

I find the quickest way is to use a USB flash drive, made bootable. 'HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool' and some system files can boot format directly to fat32.

Set the switches in the bat file and no config.sys or autoexec.bat

Sure you've seen it before, there's a simple little volt mod to get rid of the vdroop. 1Kohm 22 turn pot and really steady hands = virtually no droop at all.

This is where to measure the vcore, I find my uguru value is 0.02v out.

I can think of two things, its either a board revision or some of the old bios persists. Flash the bootblock and use the clear switches. Take the battery out for a few minutes and then see.

iirc it varies with Vcore - the higher your Vcore the higher VTT becomes available.

Easy's core is higher than mine and I have more VTT.

EDIT: After a bit of research, I think the CPU VTT is linked to the MCH voltage. Up the MCH and the VTT range increases.

Guys,

I am about to buy this board and have a question with my current board which is the MSI p975 Platinum power up edition i had to mess around with sata drivers before i could install xp as it did not recognise my sata drives...

Can someone put my mind at rest and confirm I wont have this issue with this board as to be honest i have built loads of systems all with cheaper boards which never had this issue which quite frankly p***ed me off thinking by spending extra money on a better setup resulted into more annoying crap like that :(

Anyone please confirm that this board is worth getting as I plan on doing some over clocking with my q6600 GO cpu and this seems to be the direction to go ???

I will have a look on the cd, but that link you posted says nothing about Vista which got me wondering in the first place. . .
it doesn't?
