Looks like faulty gpu memory then. Probably need to keep using it until it does that all the time before you can rma it though.

yea my thoughts exactly........pointless going through rma process only to find no fault found.......

waiting for it to do again.....

was getting atikmpag.sys bsod on windows startup.....

this was with a new fresh install aswell.....

Rinse it with increased volts and overclocks, speed up the process.

Was in BF4 but just ran Valley and both hit 95%. Is it normal to not hit 100%? This is with a 4770k at 4ghz.

Yeah, it's normal to not hit 99-100% @1080p. Might want to get your cpu up a little too.

Have you disabled ulps (and if you want, powerplay support) in afterburner?

1440p CPU at 4.4 gives same results, not stable any higher with my ram at 2400. ULPS and powerplay both disabled too, I'll switch to Matt's bios and try once more.

How come you decided to get rid of the 7990?

See below. Couldn't turn down a £180+ saving which enabled me a free upgrade to 290 Pro Crossfire.

Its the weak point of the card. The good thing with 290 crossfire is for gaming you don't need to overclock, just run at stock and away you go. Plenty o fps.

Can't say I've found that to be honest. My 290CF framerates have been disappointing.
