corsair H50 with standard config of corsair fan intake

impressed by the H50 since I got it a few weeks ago ..

so now Im Noob watercooler and Noob clocker .. lol .. wheres me certificate and free pint of beer :D

all this on a 790FX board so I expect the new 890FX with a good stable BIOS will beat my efforts but Im happy

well I guess I sure can given a bit of time .. will prime for the 3 hour mark and consider that OK for now and test real world stuff

ram is corsair dominator DDR3 running at 9-9-9-25 2T 1333Mhz board controlling volts
NB is unchanged by me
HT is unchanged by me
Only thing I changed was upped the multi to 20X and dropped the vcore by a notch as board seems to overvolt to 1.49v

OK got Frtz Chess Mark from the overclocking sticky but Cinebench is V11.5 .. cant see older versions anywhere

i am very impressed with that cinebench score Cozman, i just ran both my rigs and the q6600 @ 3.3 scored 3.61 and the unlocked 550 @ 3.1 scored 3.33 so that is just about doubling my scores :)
 
not sure about others but possible my H50 needs a clean and reseat due to fact when I first fitted the X6 it went BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP because it had a small ball of fluff in the pins :eek:

I removed to check cpu and discovered the fluff and refitted without cleaning or repasting and although was only about 3 or 4 mins that could be messing mine up .. ambient here is 25C so could be your just in a cold room .. lmao

Well I'm only using a single 800RPM fan. Silence :cool: and i'm pretty sure I put too much paste on, I was in a rush to get the X6 fired up lol

Kept it at 3.8 for the min, upping my CPU-NB, currently at 2.6GHz, HT still at 2.2GHz.

hey IM FINISHED ... lmao .. for now .. im real world stress testing now and no BSOD or black screens so far (thats a certain kiss of death) :cool:
 
theres already 10 pages of waffle dude! - theres only about 4 pages of good info - the rest is - passed prime 1 hr, passed prime 2 hr, passed prime 3hr......... might be on topic but a tad pointless no?
