*** Official BioShock 2 Thread ***

Will someone with a spec comparable to mine (3700+ single, 4850) tear themselves away from it for just long enough to tell me if it runs fine for them? The first one runs on full for me at 1920x1080.
 
Jimmy (nice name btw), it won't fully install until after midnight so you will have to wait. I am hoping it is not too cpu dependant but I am on a 4800 with a 4850. Will let you know if I stay up late, although I play at a much lower resolution than you.

It would seem not and I've set my system up at home for remote access over the weekend specifically so I could open steam for the preload in order to play it when I get home on Wednesday :mad:

If you can run the first game then I would imagine you should be able to play this one no problem either as it's still based on the same engine and still has the must-be-playable-on-console constraints.

Though of course I can't say for certain so don't run out and buy it based on my ramblings.
 
7 star review in the guardian. I read up till *SOMEONE OR SOMETHING* is back and then stopped for fear of spoilers. This is about as excited I've ever been for a game!

I want to do that but no doubt steam won't let me download till half way through Tuesday then it will take another few hours. Roll on Wednesday :(
 
Installing now, so impressed with the collectors edition. Definitely the best "special edition" game I've ever bought, I mean so much effort has gone into it and I thought the original BS collectors edition was good with the big daddy figurine. I mean I have a vinyl and no means to play it :D

Torrent is available with a cracked version already. DRM just hurts customers.
