Consider using the following if you want to max FOV:

I disable blur also, hate it. (r_motionblur = 0)

Its a custom map so the editor can dictate the lighting levels and use some of the same variables as the multiple mods out there. Its not a vanilla out of the box map, none of which looked even remotely on the same level as the "Jungle Fight" video.

Got mine around an hour or so ago... Just downloading now via Origin, not very good speeds though, hopefully be downloaded before I go to bed this evening so as I can have a quick go....

see the dirty pirates are having issues with the game crashing on the second mission, lol found this out whilst searching for issues with the game via google, apparently the cracks aren't working too well and it crashes to desktop once you complete the first mission...

Its just over £24 if you search around, not really a lot to pay for a AAA title game now is it?

And I don't mind playing at 1080p that'll do me just fine so looking forward to seeing the graphics.. Crysis 1 is still top dog though, that game just doesn't age does it? lol

Will download tonight / tomorrow. I paid just less than £24. Not bad really.

Lets hope modders get working on some awesome Jungle maps as above in Crysis 1 - even if mods are included, its still the 2007 engine thats used (and looks better than the game 6 years later)

Bought my key from them 10minutes ago, 5 minutes later key arrived, - redeemed and now downloading through origin.

How the beeeeeeeeep can origin get away with charging us £40 when these guys can do it for £25!?!

EDIT: hmmmm, not sure if I want to run this - I have a feeling I will be feeling 'inadequate' once again after attempting to play this at 1440p! :<

I think they buy retail bulk copies. chop the cd keys off and sell them seperately for profit. Nothing illegal in that

I will give modders the extra £15 or £20 I have saved

The original Crysis is still looking good, but it's not top dog anymore. Crysis 3 is even above Crysis 2 with Moldo 4.0 mod and at least it shows that a very immersive game can be made on CE 3.

LE: And that jungle video looks worse than the final Crysis game.

Anybody running this on a 670? If so what settings are working well for you? Game looks great so far, the rain effects sweeping all over the place are nice, or perhaps I haven't played enough games with rain in them!

Pretty much, although some CD key sites were just stealing codes or giving out the same code to many customers, wasn't there an issue some time back with Dirt 2 or was it 3 keys being stolen or leaked?

Anyhow, they just get boxed copies, rip the code out, email it to you, and you enter into a download client, you get the game instantly, save money and they don't have the overhead of postage etc...

£24 is a heck of a lot cheaper then £40.. I can justify £24, but £40 - not really... Steam have Tomb Raider pre order £26, with a load of bonus items, now that was a good deal, but Crysis 3 on origin, not a good deal at all..

Crysis 2 was ****, this is much better, gameplay may not be up to much but the GFX are simply the best yet of any PC game.

iv-tecman - mine looks like a scan of a manual / box or something. I guess that as long as i register it on my Origin account before anyone else, there will be no problems. If there are I can go back and ask why my copy has been blocked
