Yeah in other words this game is out too early.. they should just release this game when the next high end card comes out, i knew this was gonna happen.

I aint buying it to play it all laggy and crap, no way i would enjoy it. Imagine playing MP on this? nope, lagfest you could say.

the game doesnt perform as well as it should imo, it doesnt even look that good in some areas.. like inside huts

My spec:

e2180 @ 3ghz,
Geil 2gb DDR2,
8800GTS @ 620/920mhz

I can run all high, 1280x1024, no AA (though it needs it! :() at 30fps average, very smooth for me.

Trying so hard to squeese a little more FPS to get 2x AA.

And you guys are right, Easy/Normal modes = bad AI, Hard/Delta = better AI.

or, they could relese it now, everyone gets an awesome game, which even in low-med is still grahpically excellent, and then when the new DX10.1 comes out we can all get better cards and play it at max, thus prolonging the life of the game, and you're enjoyment, and you're wallets enjoyment

it isnt all laggy and crappy, jeez, just run it at a lower res, or slightly lower settings, or a smaller res; it's not the end of the world.
playing for 6 hours today the only point at which i lagged was jumping from a building in the process of being turned into scrap metal as i blew a barrel up, sending the enemies inside flying through the windows outside and the car chasis being thrown 20 feet in the air

how doesn't it perform as well as it should do? it performs exactly as it says on the tin, them saying the recommended spec includes an 8800 series doesn't mean you'll get max settings with said series.

inside huts looks fine, what exactly could they do differently? paint the walls?
 
I don't regret paying £360 for my GTX. I'd bin it and spend £500 on a new gen card any day. I don't drink, don't smoke and i totally deserve to spend my hard-earned on anything i please. Hell once when i was a kid in about a month i spent nearly £300 in the arcades! lol At least i get something physical for my money. What do peeheads and smokers get? lol
 
guys, i can play the game wih the glorious sniper in editor mode, but i cant seem to get the weapons to spawn in the real game... any ideas?

There is many many users not happy with the game, I dont care if some are they are welcome to their opinions and I aint dissing them unlike you and a few others who dont seem to like anyone dissing Crysis.

I posted a bit of info some may find interesting "ON TOPIC", there is a link at top and its has nothing to do with me.

Would seem the link is now dead, it was active at time I posted, probably like here a flame war going on and trolling got it killed.

Cryis is good looking overall but should not bring the highest of high end down to 3FPS with 1900x ****'s RES (whatever your on 4:3 etc) and all settings even at High nevermind Very high.

As it does it would seem we have been told BS by Cevat Yerli.

I did find COD4 graphics more realistic, rather than the old Farcry tropical theme all over again.. Crysis seems to be like an expansion pack for Farcry... Just the same old palm trees again...Definetly give this one a miss, COD4 all the way..COD4= Gameplay & Graphics 10/10.

CoD4 graphically was pants (in comparison(and in my opinion)) to crysis
 
Damnit, downloaded 1.6gigs on my slow BT 2 meg connection and BT thought it would be fun to disconnect me. So now need to redownload again, and use the torrent this time so i can resume, seeing as firefox competely sucks at pause and resume. Beunlimited really looks good now, bt has been doing nothing but disconnect me every few hours for about the past 3 months.

i need a new job:(, i dont earn enough a month to pay the bills let alone buy luxuries.
 
COD 4 also has the benefit of running 4 times faster on the highest settings. ;)

I must say that at the moment Crysis does look more promising, assuming there is still a lot more content than what we're seeing in the demo. I remember when I played Far Cry and came across the Hang Glider for the first time. I thought I'd seen everything the game had to offer before then, but some things did surprise me.

You got that spot on m8, i'm sick of reading whinging off mewling sods who want everything yesterday. But to be honest they aint got a clue really.

I'd certainly be miffed, because at medium it doesnt as good as all those videos of gameplay footage weve been watching for the last 2 years.
