With my extensive mucking about, ive found 1.45v to be the sweet spot - with my SD at 2.7, it hits 48C at full load with the arctic freezer. When i go up to 1.475, the full load jumps up to 57-58C.

doesnt sound right mate, no way extra .025V would increase load temp by 10C.

its true though - its like a threshhold on my board, seems to tip the pcmic and nf4 temps over the threshold too.

yeah i suppose since this mobo does have some strange things about it.look at conc with his lockups etc.i just got a another set of vx(bought in forum) and can get it memtest stable all day with 3.4V at 270MHz yet in windows it is not stable above 260 without more vdimm and slacker mem settings(still 1.5-2-2-5).
leads me to believe that more BIOS updates are required to make this a more stable mobo.

The board definetly is flakier than the dood from the singing detective. Ive been stable at all sort of speeds, only to put on a new bios, get no where, return to old bios and not get what i was getting before.

Its a tinkerers dream board though, you have to continually tinker with it to keep a stable setting ;)

Can I ask if people could measure there Vcore using a multimeter?

^^ there are the measurement points, oin another thread someones was over-volting by 0.03 the set voltage.

Also say what BIOS you are using. :)

I Don't want to a kill a 2.9ghz SD. :(

About the PS/2 issue. I got a PS/2 keyboard freeze upon first boot up with this BIOS, need to see if it happens again. These are based on the (-3) TCCD RAM table beta's according to Angry_Games.

No. TCCD chips are the Samsung Chips capable of very high FSB - usually up to about 300mhz. They only come in 256mb and 512mb sticks (sold as dual channel pairs). They run tight timings of 2-2-2-5 1T @ 200mhz and up to about 2.5-4-4-8 1T at 300mhz. Low voltage is required for this, between 2.6-2.95v.

It will have all of the tweaks and features of the beta bios's and maybe even more, not had chance to flash it yet since I'm at work.

no sorry but it is as i feared. first off i can't boot with my 4x512mb vx now and also now it never sees the mx desktop keyboard before post so can enter bios either. back to the hellfire modded beta for me.
