Matt1: buy a DFI SLI-D when you can, if you want the possibility of SLI (and thus buy an nvidia card) it's just not worth the hassle getting an ULTRA board.
for a start no SLI bridge.... and one or two other things like they removed the pencil trick on later boards, etc. for the price difference i reccommend the SLI-D. (even though i went the full way and got an SLI-DR)
remember, dont buy a leadtek 6800GT if you like sli though, the cooler requires modding as it's too big :/
in fact overall the motherboard is very small and cramped together, it just gets dwarfed in my CM STACKER to the point that some of the front panel connectors dont reach across to the board! (sp/dif optical out and mini firewire won't reach the FRONTX, but they arent an issue to me, so it's not a problem). very strange, guess it fits small cases this way,
