Hi surge how do you setthese things up
I need to know how to the ram and chip yes butalso these voltage options ie:
Cpu vid startup voltage and the rest of the VID stuff also the LDT (what is that)
What have you got yourram set up like (bios screen shots would be very useful)
Basically all the info you have on setting this up would be great.

Hi Gary,
What RAM are you using? TCCD? I'll use e-mail- don't really do MSN

BTW I switched from Intel also so had to learn a whole load of new stuff too..

Been messing around in bios a bit more and changed memory timings and voltage...

Got it Prime 95 and memtest stable too, very happy my DFI

Try dropping tRP (ras precharge) to 3 TCCD can usually handle 2.5-4-3-10 at 300 if its good stuff.

Ok, i'll try that. I haven't tried to push HTT any higher yet (not sure i want to) but the CPU temp seems ok. I found that raising the memory voltage to 3.0v got me stable @ 300HTT (i could only get 295HTT stable @2.9v)

Yep - I see *no* difference in my maximum performance between 2.5-4-3-7 and 2.5-4-4-7.

This said, I also see virtually no difference in either benchmarks or bandwidth between these settings. It seems that Trcd is the more important setting as far as performance benefits go.

Got it all up and running thanks to surse's bios screens. Only running at 2.8 at the mo going to keep it like this for a few days then up it, hopeing for 3.0
What do you think of my sig photoshopped it today??

My DFI is on the way and I was just wondering which 6800GT cards will fit in SLi as I understand the slots are quite close so it matters which you get due to the size of the coolers.

Any of them, except the leadtek.

Wait... I'm not sure about the galaxy either (the one that has the arctic cooler). But anyway, all GTs with either the stock (single slot) GT cooler, or the stock (2 slot) Ultra cooler will fit no problems.

Interested if anyone has used the arctic cooler as wanted to get one anyway if possible but assumed it wouldnt fit when in SLI

AFAIK artic coolers block the dfi mobo fan if a chunks not taken out of them...
