Official DFI NF4Ultra-D/SLi owners thread.

Hello there. I finally put my rig togather.

DFI Ultra - D
AMD Athlon 64 3200 Winchester
Geil Value RAM CAS 2.5
Samsung Spinpoint 169Gb
HIS Excalibur x800xl

The whole process went smoothly. It booted up, I was presented with the LanPartyNF4 logo. I pressed del. Setup the date and time. And then made the CD ROM the primary boot drive. But when I install Windows I cannot press F6 when it asks for 3rd party drivers for my SATA drives.
I've tried different keyboards and F6 does not work. Does anyone have any sugggestions?
I tried using the drivers integrated into SP2 (it's a Windows C.D with SP2 slipstreamed using nLite) but during installation errors come up.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks

Its the one by itself in the top right hand corner

Presume its middle one for normal SATA - first one if you wanna use SATA RAID and you can ignore the third as its for the extra 4 SATA ports for SLI-DR.

ps3ud0

What went wrong with yours? And did it cost you much to post it?

Hope you get it back soon mate I know what it's like :(

Does anyone know the DFI contact email address

I'm getting problems when installing Windows

Also, do I need to do anything in the BIOS so I can install Windows on a SATA disk?

(The F6 button isn't working - I can't install the SATA drivers!)

Thanks

The DFI doesnt need drivers if your using the nForce 4 SATA...

It has taken since 8th of March now, there phoneline is useless as it is a re-direct service and they have had it since the 17th of March.. My hols are coming up I want my motherboard DFI, 3 weeks are up this coming friday.
It was just under £15 to post it to the DFI HQ in whereever in europe it was...

DFI suck at RMAs.... Im NOt happy, it it doesnt return by the end of my hols, Im never buying DFI again as it tbh sucks.

GT4 is keeping the bordom away atm tho, at 45% so it wont last much longer :p

What happened to your board that it had to be RMA'd ?
I thought mine had died on Sunday 4 red LED's of death they're called, and it's right my 2.7ghz 3000 Winnie died whilst benching/setting it up, although it could be nothing at all to do with the DFI, I just put it down to wear and tear as it was made to do 1800mhz not the 2700mhz that I ran it at so I'm probably to blame. But it is worrying nontheless if the support of DFI is poor I hate that

Ok a quick question. Can you update a DFI mobo WITHOUT a floppy drive? I will be getting a DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D very soon when the Venice core comes out. How long will it be when Overclockers supply this mobo with a compatible bios for the Venice? I dont want to be stuck with a cpu and mobo that I cant use. And I dont know anyone else with a A64 :(
