Yeah enabled ShadowPlay for desktop, it then records the game thinking you're on your desktop.

Had to do it in the beta was kind of ugly as my GPU didn't spin upto full clocks using window mode + desktop capture :S

So good! Graphics are stunning, combat flows really well and actually lol'd when i found the first secret map and collectables. Music at times is great too.

Really well done throw back to the originals!

Just set the game in fullscreen mode, no need for windowed. Works perfectly.

Couldn't get it to work in the beta unless I used some form of windowed mode dunno if its any different in retail/something funky with my setup.

No, I've had fps well over 100 (1200p / 1600p).

believe the ccap is now 200fps before the physic goes wonky

Don't have to use windowed mode, just start recording in desktop and launch the game.

Just capped some gameplay of hell, uploading now, 4.7 gigs for 13 mins

Used to play Ddom and Quake II a lot back in the day, but haven't played an FPS since Far Cry 1 - what's this like on the lowest difficulty level for an FPS numpty like me?

770 sli you are obviously running out of vram at 1440p.

You say you did a clean install on W10; are you sure everything has updated / patched as necessary?

yeah man, pretty sure, freshly downloaded all drivers. It was the same performance before I reinstalled windows as well.

edit: Hmm, went back to 365.10 drivers and now have 70-80 fps on ultra.... okay, makes no sense but will settle with that.

How are you guys checking the performance? It doesn't work on fraps or afterburner for me. Not even the steam built in fps timer works.

Steam built in fps counter does work!

Doom 4 has a built in nightmare stats system though. Scroll down on the advanced gfx settings screen and choose an option to control how much stat info is shown.

Anywhere from high 50s to 90s running ultra no motion blur, with 980ti.

I use MSI afterburner. Cool little tool which displays in my G19.
