*** Official Fallout 4 - No Spoilers Allowed ***

I might move down to there, it's fairly flat also isn't it? Much soil around for growing? :)

Very flat area, open plan and a couple of buildings for initial shelter before you expand with more houses.
Only a small-ish area, but enough to sustain at least 8. I may have missed certain corners where there maybe more soil.

Are people just building up one main settlement and ignoring the rest? Doing one seems like a chore right now, let alone 5+.

I'm only just building sanctuary as they aren't happy due to sustained attacks.

Otherwise, I've been building a little here and there, starting small and when number of settlers increase, I add more.
The easiest setup was Covanent thus far. All walls up, just needed to put guns and traps and that place is good for 10+ settlers.

Just got the cryolator through the
dogmeat vault 111 hack

Level 22, killed a queen Mirulak at level 20 last night which was epic. Getting one shotted a lot now. No fatman yet. Can't find nick valentine, sure I sent him to Sanctuary but no sign of him! Some of my side quests are starting to require expert lock and hack skills, but I stupidly went for a 10strengh 10 luck build, which I am quite enjoying.

My favourite weapon on this game is definitely the upgraded revolver, it's disgusting.

Finding the deliverer and tinker Tom special my most used currently.

Going for a sneak based sniper character so these work well, can 1 shot most enemies so far with a few mods and perks added, and if things go ugly I can just wip out my modded combat shotgun.

Very intriguing seeing some peoples building adventures!

I lost dogmeat like that.

I had a glitch moment where if I sent Nick home it came up Dogmeat to go home, then vice versa. I sent dogmeat to sanctuary, he is not in the doghouse or anywhere.

I half expect him to be near where the mission was still, shame I cannot remember.

I am at an akward point now where I am not happy with the way I have developed my character skill wise and all the missions except main one are clear outs.

Half considered starting again but level 26 and maybe 28 hours in or something. Maybe not.

I think I'm getting close to a crucial stage in the main story where I'll have to choose a faction to support, and at this point I'm honestly not sure which one to go for. It almost seems like none of them are the right choice completely. I've been doing as much side content as I can find to try and put off the moment of truth.

I also successfully romanced one of my companions! :D

Curie, in her humanoid body. Gotta love a sexy, intelligent French robot with a heart of gold!

I'm almost level 30 now and I've finally started doing the main story missions. :p

Level 31 before I started finding Valentine. I totally forgot that was the main mission, I just went pass an area near that mission and thought why not.

Most of my levelling is from Idiot Savant, building and scavenging.

Also, had my first Deathclaw attack my settlement yesterday! It attacked my Drive-Thru place, thankfully it was fortified. It managed to "jump" and hit a turret that was higher than it, destroying it with 1 hit!

My main settlement is now the Castle. Such an amazing location but such a PITA for trying to arrange walls and gates on some of the faces that is open. Almost got it fully fortified. With 100 defence, I want to see someone attack to test my defence!

I am not giving anything here but talking about the feeling that the story gave me. I marked it as a spoiler anyway.

I finished the main story on Saturday and my choices led me to an ending that was so depressing. As a result I loaded up an earlier save and went a different way. I love the way that there is not a clear good / evil choice at play here. It is all shades of gray.
