player.modav carryweight 5000

I did it as soon as I loaded into game. I can't stand carry weights.

Do you have the config tool active to access the console? I tried that tool last night and it bugged out the game settings for me by limiting some graphics settings to high only

I have some armour and wearing it, but I can not craft it, do I need to be a higher level? other items like the 111 suit and some other bandit items I can craft.

Possible to have more than one profile on a game?

If not, then I guess stopping cloud and moving saves to a folder for each profile.

Not sure about right now, but ModOrganiser, when it eventually supports FO4 should allow that.

Is it power armour?

So you took it off, rocked up to an armour bench and selected it for re-working? Should give you options to at least paint it if nothing else? The bottom rightish of the crafting window tell you what you are missing to allow a certain upgrade. You generally need leather and above for crafting.

If it's power armour, that's a different thing entirely. I'm not totally sure about the system on that yet (I think you have to find and replace each part and the customisation stops there)

it is not the power armour (have 3 of them so far woop) but I have just found this..

There are three kinds of armor in Fallout 4, and they're not clearly defined. Some full suits are sort of self-contained full armor sets. You can't customize them or layer over/under them. Other armor (especially some kinds of clothing) act as an under-armor layer which can be combined with over-armor head, chest, arm, and leg pieces. Experiment in your Pip Boy to see which combinations work.

Actually.... very true that. Like the mutant gauntlets (which do both arms).

So yeah, only the "underwear" and "separate armour pieces" are craftable (head, 2 arms, 2 legs). The sets not.
I've had legendary parts (1 arm, both legs) so I hadn't had need to switch much else in for a while now, forgot there were the.. "set" bits. Those aren't craftable as far I've seen.

Keymapping in this game is absolutely atrocious. Unbindable numpad, and loads of controls hard bound to WASD, E and other keys, even for supposedly rebindable functions.

The base building completely breaks if you bind the WASD keys to the arrow keys - you can't move around to place objects. Lockpicking remains on A and D, etc.

Being left handed I find this very frustrating.

Plus some terrible UI shortcut choices - TAB to go back? When was that ever a common key for going back?

Despite that I'm enjoying the game, but I'm having to avoid the base building for the time being.

Here's hoping Bethesda sort this out, though perhaps modders can save the day again like they did for Skyrim's keybinding and UI.

I did also have a stuttering performance issue in an interior (On a 4790k + 980Ti!) but adding iFPSClamp=60 to the general section of the main ini file fixed it.

Are you suffering from any ailments after an encounter with something?

Nope, was fine before I started crafting all the meat I had collected at a camp fire, then after I had cooked it all my carry weight was down 50 points.

Properly annoying as it had been on 345 for ages, so not an effect from anything

Maybe that the cooked item weight is more than the ingredients. Doesn't make sense I know but it's my only guess. Go through your misc/junk items and sort them by weight (Z). You may have simply picked something up. Or do you mean the max you can carry has dropped?

yup I had 240/345 before crafting and afterwards had 233/295

I have no tool installed?

I simply pressed ~ (without shift) and the console came up. At least I think it was ~. I'll try again tonight.

Simply assumed it would be the same as Skyrim, and low and behold it is. I'm even tempted to try and do player.additem 10000 0000000f which is 10,000 gold in Skyrim. Wonder if they used the same item code for caps? lol

I'd bet that in real money they have ha

MUST RESIST... MODDING...

I told myself I wouldn't... I think I will though, provided I can find a non-destructive way to start experimenting with mods on a diverged save-file and keep my main save unmodded at least until I work out what mods I want...

Possible? Using Mod Organiser I guess it should be right?
