**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

I just got the Grognak The Barbarian Costume...If I were a strong mele build it would be epic!

I need to find the Silver Shadow quest in Hubris Comics, as it looks like there's quite a bit to it from the terminal information. Setting lighting, sounds, cameras etc!

Silver Shroud. Yeah I've just done the first part of that quest. It seems like it will be quite interesting!

Didn't find anything to do with the lights though.

Edit- yep. Love the quest :D

Wish the story/dialogue was better in this game, if it had Witcher level storytelling it would be incredible. Just hit level 17 and barely touched the main quest after Diamond City, I've genuinely forgotten what I'm meant to be doing with it that's how much of an impression it's made on me. Have to give them credit for the world they've created though, very immersive and for all the negative feedback it looks truly beautiful at times.

That pretty much sums up my feelings too. I don't necessarily think the story is bad just inappropriate for a game of this magnitude. And whilst the dialogue and dialogue options are very poor, the quality of the quests is still very high indeed. There have been some absolutely classic fallout moments so far that could stand against anything from the series. The linearity of some of the quests is disappointing though, especially if you've played New Vegas (often one way to do something, sometimes 2 but fairly run of the mill choices), but they are still fun and interesting.

I was wondering the same. A quick google of "iNumHWThreads" and they all refer to Fallout3 and NV, not a single mention of it for Fallout4 outside of this topic

most of his suggestions were debunked

but further down the thread

"The ONLY tweak here that is good is iNumHWThreads, but ONLY if you have a hyperthreaded CPU, otherwise this can cause problems."

if people are struggling and have a hyperthreaded cpu it's certainly worth a try it won't exactly break your save :)
