**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Try the console forum, there is less douchebaggery and more actual game discussion :)

Well ya'll seem to enjoy that cinematic 30 fps experience an seem to think its just fine then ya'll should hop over there. Why not join IGN or Gamespot, heard they cater to 30 fps gamers well. Cinematic and all.

This @30fps literally sums up gaming for me.

James, are you playing and enjoying the game? If the answer is yes, why is this still going around in a circle?

Before you call me casual, console, fanboy, etc, etc...I happily acknowledge some people are getting bad fps when their hardware would suggest they should not be and I too much prefer my games to be running at a full 60fps, I hate 30fps locks and disable them if possible. I'm purposely not telling you how my game is performing as I'm running a different configuration to you that will serve no purpose, but I will say I'm enjoying the game.

Does this help? Can we get back to playing the game now?

Going to try and head to diamond city today to progress the main story, was waiting for a side quest to lead me that direction but mostly been going around the north area for the minute men. Oh and messed up at sanctuary. Was building a fence got about 50% done when I found the correct wall option that would have snapped...oh well...better pull it down and rebuild

Finding a lot of busy work in the quests now. Lots of them seem to be just go here talk to x, who sends you back to y, them they send you back x again etc. Hardly exciting. I'm doing far too much fast travelling.

One can both enjoy a game but also Criticise. Food/Film/Game Critics do exactly that.

I want the game to run smoothly, at a consistent 60fps.

If I didnt want that, I'd have bought a PS4.

Another problem with the game is... no RP elements at all really. Conversations are literally: Yes, Yes, Sarcastic Yes.

Doing my usual tactic of avoiding the questline and just randomly exploring, started by traversing the left side of the map from top to bottom just heading towards any landmarks which took my fancy.

Finding pretty much everything i encounter has a legendary or skull icon beside it so im assuming im well out of my depth but enjoying it nonetheless and manage to snag a few juicy upgrades from it.

Only area so far which i cant even get near without getting destroyed is where the Children of the Atom cult occupy.

Having fun, isnt that what gaming is about :D

Fair enough, from the way you were arguing with anyone not having the same issue I got the feeling you were not having fun playing the game. You're right, critics do that, but they also tend to not call other people names because others have a differing opinion.

Yeah I'm also not a fan of the changes to the dialogues. It's usable, but not as good as before. Guess they were appealing to the bioware crowd.

Following on from a post I made earlier about what post-release content will be released. One thing I think is needed, and can see coming is boats. There is quite a bit of water in the game an it would make travelling to especially down the right side of the map less tedious.

Wow. Ya'll should just buy a Console if you think 30fps is fine.

You sound like a child. Some of us are running the game at a solid 60fps and have given you proof. Some on hardware less powerful than yours. Unfortunately, you are one of the unlucky ones with your configuration, stop crying about it and either deal with it or delete the game. Stop ruining the thread.

Seriously...

Even Nvidia's own Benchmarks show sub 60fps..

They seriously need to make it so that during conversations you can't be interrupted. Not exaggerating, I have been trying to talk to a character for the main plot for over 20 minutes now, but he keeps seeing a vertibird flying overhead(not even overhead tbh. It's nowhere near us) and says 'we're not alone'. It isn't the first time it's happened either. The annoying thing is you have to start the dialogue again every time he comes back!

Edit- ffs. He's following the vertibird half way across the bloody map. This is ridiculous!
