**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Just hit level 7, had been creating a little base at the big car park thing...cant remember its name haha...decided to start the quest line and then end up back at sanctuary >_<

Have realised I've made a few mistakes on perks etc based on how i now want to play so going to start a fresh save tomorrow...have all week off work so tonnes of time to sink into it :)

Great stuff thanks, got a decent amount of ammo for the DB Shotgun but have been trying to shoot them in the face.

I traded in my dog for a strong mutant as my backup. He quite useful if you need to use him for mobile storage. :p Think my fav weapon at the moment is my custom scope powerful (combat rifle) that uses .45 rounds. without the mods it reminded me of shotgun but better
 
Met the brotherhood and done their first mission, NOW I have ammo :D

I've got the minuteman guy with me, from the way he talks it sounds like if I join the BoS then I leave Minutemen, is that right?
 
Getting a bit more into this, taking a while to grab me. I am finding ammo to be a major issue at the moment, am i missing an obvious ammo income method?

Only gripes are that and the base/building and general u.i sucks, even on a controller

It's not until later in the game that you get the "point-of-no-return" choice for some of the factions I think, so you're fine to do them both now

I decided to risk spoilers and searched for an answer, you apparently can.

Minutemen are apparently always neutral regardless of other faction choices and story progression. There is more info out there on other factions and joining multiple which I'll not include even in spoiler tags but a quick search should give you the answer

Game just gets better and better! 22 hours in and level 21 now, time for bed unfortunately with work tomorrow! Going to sink some hours in to this :)
 
Found another possible 'Quest breaker' and its doing my nut in!!! :-

USS Constellation quests, last thing I have to do is find the FLL3 Turbo bearings. Map has sent me to the Corvega assembly plant and I've followed a video on YouTube which shows where the bearings are but when I get there, no bloody bearings to be seen!!!! :mad: Anyone help??!!

Also, any HD texture packs out for d/l for this yet? The close up textures are really letting this game down a bit for me. Very pleased with the rest of it though, don't get me wrong! ;)

At the big warehouse place and into the city, BIG frame rate drops where there shouldn't be, as it goes from 70 to 48 then back up to 70 with a slight move to the right. Plus the textures look like utter ****.
