**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

I took the second scrapper perk and now my wanted stuff highlights in the world. Not a fan of that effect.

Any idea how to turn off tagging for things you don't need anymore?

Where the hell can I sell some of my crap too, and buy some ammo and stuff.

There's a diner (Trudy's?) near Red Rocket.

As a guess, does it not just toggle off the same way you toggle it on?

I could only toggle it on for things I didn't have.
I may be missing another way.

Diamond city market.

What difficulty are people playing on? I've left it on default, wondering if I should go up a notch. I'm buried in ammo, over 1000 of some, and that's with killing everything I find.
I'm thinking of ramping up the difficulty too. Now I have rifle perks I am one-shotting most bipeds with headshots.

Hi all don't know if this issue has been covered here.
After altering .ini files so that I can play on my Dell U3415 monitor I find that the Pip Boy is so large as to be totally useless.
I must say the game actually looks good at 3440 x 1440 resolution but as I say unplayable because of the Pip Boy FOV rubbish. I spent most of yesterday trying to solve this common problem judging by the many many posts on the subject.

Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Download the Fallout Pip Boy app onto your phone/tablet, enable Pip Boy App within the game settings, reload the game .... use it as an actual Pip Boy ;)

Anyone else think that there is a huge choice of weaponry, but the all much of the sameness? It feels like borderlands, where there are thousands of weapons but very little difference.

Pretty much, if you upgrade a few of the weapons your set for most of the game unless you get a rare stat / perk on a new gun that drops.

I'm still pretty early but I'm finding a nice variety. Lots of it uses the same ammo though, which while a little bit samey, it is convenient.

The console bug is really hampering my enjoyment of the game so far. I'm having to force vsync on and put my desktop res at 60 (from 144) to make the game actually work. Due to that though it really doesn't feel smooth at all :(

Use something like RivaTuner to lock it at 100FPS, works fine then, and is much smoother than 60. Would be ideal for it to be working at native 144, but 100 is at least better than 60.

What is the problem you have? I'm running 3440x1440 and only have a minor issue with my UI, in that the green background bars for the UI doesnt line up right, but it's only a minor thing.

The fps lock wasn't working for me yesterday. 3 out of 4 terminals bugged on me despite frames locked at 100.

I started on hard and went up to very hard (on PS4 btw) and found the main difference is lack of ammo. Bullet sponge mobs isn't the best way of increasing challenge so I'm going to drop back down to hard. Try going up a notch - can always drop down if needs be.

Have you tried the config tool? I've used that and have 0 issues now with terminals.

Locked at 60fps but never dips and runs smooth.

This was the same with Skyrim. Instead of increasing mob numbers, or making them smarter they simply increase the HP of the existing mobs. They just turn them into ammo sponges as you say. :)

It kind of kills immersion when you head shot a human with a high powered weapon, see them drop 20% of health and say "ouch who did that?".

:D

That may work but I really take issue with gimping my fps below what it could be. I wasn't getting 100fps so was happy to limit it to that. Not going any lower, I'll just have to deal with the terms :D
