**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

I thought I saw earlier in the thread that you do get them, but they don't show in the workbench till you come out of crafting then go back in

Yes, this is right, I just done an experiment with it. After I done a modification to a gun and exit the modification window, when I went back to check the workbench inventory it didn't show but after I opened and closed the Settlement visible area, forgot what it is actually called, but its where you have all the buildings, wall etc etc.. then it showed 2 added cloth to the inventory. So hopefully that means it works for all junk items that gives more then one item.

Got it working. Battled that deathclaw thing with my suit and a minigun lol.

Was currently scrapping everything in Sanctuary Hills and building a perimeter wall.

Built 5 beds they are happy, but need to go hunting for more melon seeds and stuff.

I dont feel rushed to complete the game. I'm going to get my settlement happy and full of people, then I will craft weapons and stuff to make the game easier for me ;)

Fun though.

I just thought I post that my load times were crazy long like 2mins 30s from the menu to game although I put a 16gb SD as ready boost and it made that about 1min :).
I also noticed the same with stalker load times.
May be worth trying if you have a slow hard drive.

I'm not sure if anyone can provide a definitive answer here to my question, but here goes.

I have a PS4 but I'd like to get Fallout 4 on PC as I think it could look far better than the PS4 version.

I know that my R9 290 overclocked to 1126/1400 (947/1250 stock) will be plenty, but I'm concerned that my i7 860 overclocked to 3.8GHz (hyper threading is off) will bottle neck the R9 290. I would be gaming at 1920x1080.

Anyone know of any benchmarking that might help me understand how CPU reliant the game is? Or maybe the CPU is more than enough?

To be fair, there is a lot of customisation. A base sniper rifle can produce anything from something that spits out .308's to one that can be modified to shoot 50 cal's with a long range night scope and silencer. You can pretty much produce all the weapons found in prior fallout games or similar through customisation at benches and what not.

But its still pretty much the same weapon, visually.

Think ive found a pretty major bug now :( Will put it in spoilers...

Have followed Nick to the momory bank, but i cant sit in the chair as im "in combat" saved and reloaded but nothing...cant find anything through google as for a fix either :(

Ok went back outside, fast travelled somewhere far away and came back...seems to have sorted it...ill levae this here though in case someone else gets this problem :)
