Me too! not at all happy :(

Will try and tweak it tonight and hopefully sort it. I suspect input lag, it just felt a bit wrong.

Yup it's a strange one because I didn't get the slightest issue with Half-Life 2 which I know triggered that sickness feeling in a lot of people. This really is the 1st game to ever affect me like that :(

For AMD,

Fallout4.ini -> God Rays
Fallout4Prefs.ini -> volumetric lighting

turn those off, and i forced max tesselation trough ccc to 16.

Seems to have sorted my fps issues in some places. Gotta love it when Bethesda forces Gimpworks in a already iffy engine..

Soooo at the museum

Once I got the power armor and the mini gun, went onto the street to take care of those raiders and that DeathClaw comes from under the ground. It basically kills me in 2 hits. I fired roughly 500 mini gun bullets into it and it still didn't die. I basically got lucky on a re-load when it just randomly died after jumping out from the ground. Confused :S

The female voice actor is so much better in my opinion, they way she delivers lines compare the the standard default male, plus she's probably got some more experience under her belt (I remember the voice from Mass Effect 2! ;))

I've only played an hour on my own personal copy now compared to a review version, but I think I'm already gonna restart again :p I really wanted to try out a melee focused build specialising in Luck and agility to dodge bullets and get those critical strikes, but Fallout being Fallout, I'm unfortunately missing out on a lot of uncrackable safes due to low lock picking skill, hacking terminals, etc.

I really do like the base building though. Pro tip - you can actually build on top of the "Red Rocket" gas station, you just have to build a ladder to get up there. Now I've made a huge tower overlooking the whole surrounding wasteland, and a dog kennel of course :p

Junk seems to be available anywhere once you drop it off at any workbench / stand or what not. So yeah unload those anywhere you want. For spare stuff like weapons, you can offload then into the stands and bench also, but they will only be available from that particular bench / stand.

For Power Armor, stand underneath one of those yellow Power Armor stands you see in the title screen to get some power Armor related options.

I'm pretty sure workshops only share junk once you
setup trade routes between settlements with the charisma perk Local leader.
Could be wrong though!

Played the game last night for a couple of hours. I like it and enjoyed it. Cant wait to play some more.

I hate admitting this but the graphics are looking a bit dated and are only just acceptable for a game of this budget. There are some nice touches here and there. And when I seen codsworths reflections never changed I mean come on its nearly 2016!. Ive never been one to apply mods but seriously hoping some will come out soon.

I'm really surprised the consoles struggled to run this at a constant 30fps with lower settings. Next gen my arse! Really happy I came back to pc gaming because I think playing on a console I would have been disappointed.

Are there any guides out for scrap/salvaging and stuff. I'm already at my max pretty much and I've no idea what to do with stuff like dog bowls and what have you.

There is a perk iirc called "Scrapper", or something along those lines. LEt's you break things down into components and salvage them for crafting. So basically you want to hoover up everything in sight, break down into core components/ingredients, and then store them at base camp ready for later use.

I've just been taking them to workbenches, scrapping them, then storing the output in toolboxes near the workbenches, this seems to give all the workbenches access to the resources.
