Indeed AND he's English! What a cracking Home-Grown. At one point my striker was worth £60million :D He was simply amazing though - I had a winger who had 18 long throw and between the two, they would score constantly. Ball thrown in and my striker would head it in. I scored a lot of goals like that. They were a great team. Can't find anyone like it now though.

Starting my second season with Bilbao, finished 3rd last season but as Llorente had already agreed to go I'm finding it bloody hard to replace him.

Used budget on Griezmann for £21m before really thinking it through :p but then had to get Muniain go for £39m release fee, and sold Mikel Rico (who I paid 8.75m for last season) for £16.75m - got a lot of money to spend, but nobody to buy unless I spend £21m on Raul Garcia and £31m on Benat!

Watching regens have long playing careers and then going into coaching roles is probably evidence that I've been playing for too long!

Noooo that's a brilliant aspect of the game! I love developing my players and see what happens but I've never had anyone go into a coaching role afterwards. I remember selling a youth, reluctantly but for a good price. I ended up playing against him in the CL some 5 years later and he was incredible. Pity he was on the winning side..

Good work with EB - unfortunately I'd expect it will take you many years to grab a decent footing in the Premier League. The problem as you have already discussed is the size of the stadium and how many season tickets this will equate to. You will always be considered the under dog even if you do perform above expectations. I had exactly the same issue with Huddersfield and my last PL save as Bury. I got both into the PL and was winning but I was always bottlenecked by the stadium even after 20 years. The lack of funds simply meant a smaller transfer budget.

Some advice, as soon as you can get your training and youth facilities upgraded! Vitally important. The better facilities the quicker your youth will improve and your existing players will start to learn their PPM quicker. It really does make a big difference. Ask for more coaches and scouts. And also, a big essential, ask for a feeder club to improve your standing abroad! I can earn £3 million + per season just by merchandising from one feeder club.

Thank you :)

So should I be asking the board to extend the stadium or upgrade the facilities first?

Most of my players are young and I do believe they have decent potential.

My staff numbers are currently this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23426361/staff.JPG - should I push for more then?

He's been unbelievable. Picked him up for £1.2m in 2017/18 as I went up into the Premiership with Brentford. Beat Man UTD, Arsenal and Spurs to sign him as I offered his as much money as I could.

When played up front he's awesome. His last two seasons he's played 59 games, scored 57 goals and 19 MoM awards! For some reason though, after I left Brentford a few seasons back they started playing him in midfield  England have done the same too.

Brentford didn't get into Europe last season so he was transfer-listed, and I couldn't resist a cheeky bid :D

Thank you :)

You should extend the stadium as soon as you are allowed. There's no point asking until you are doing well though as the financial outlay would cripple a smaller club. Build it up slowly. I expanded my stadium from 20,000 to 47,000 in 14 years. I was not allowed planning permission for a new one. That's the sort of time it will take, and even when I was the richest club in the world I still did not have the budgets that Arsenal or Manchester are given. Get your facilities improved immediately. You can do this at the same time as expanding, and it can cost a few hundred thousand to many millions depending on your level. Improve ALL facilities, including youth and training. Get your youth intake to exceptional which gives you a shot at the best regens.

Your staff numbers are terrible :D As Bury I had 28 scouts, for example. 14 coaches, and numerous other staff positions. Most scouts were 20/20 where I could find them. But because you are a 'growing' club it will take time to build your backroom. Take it slowly.

Another question, on the finance page there is a section called "Club Membership" I am only getting £3.3k from 62 members which seems very low, is that about right? or?

Also I have sold 8408 season tickets and the board expect another 900 to sell, surely that is far too much for a club with a stadium that only holds 12636!?

I am waiting for my bank loan to be paid off in a month, I think that should give me a better chance of getting board requests granted :)

I just annihilated my finances by buying Raul Garcia for £21.5m and Benat for £32m (£13m over 36 months)

Had to settle for Kike Sola as my backup ST for £1.1m so that wasn't too bad.

Spent £78m and sold £56m

Thanks :)

I'm not sure what the club membership means  - I don't have any in my clubs. But as long as you have a decent income from season tickets that's where it matters. And you have rather a lot of season ticket holders :D
Hmm do you have shareholders? Maybe that is something to do with it.

I only have like 5 scouts. Scouting trips can cost you some 200k/month. They don't find the best players for me either. I do most of the work:D

Yes that is very true. But I find the best 20/20s find the best youth for my shortlist. Better than I could find myself anyway. But that is a good alternative for lesser incomes.

meh I'll give this another go stupid fifa manager 2013 keeps crashing every few games after 1-2 seasons.... biggest waste of money I ever spent

Me neither, I am not sure how to see if I have any share holders? Here are some pics anyway:

Not sure what is going on with my season ticket holders... it said I had sold over 10k and then on the info page says 3125

hehe yeah.. It's because you are a 'small' club in the grand scheme of things. You will need to finish at least mid place in order to convince them to expand. If you do grab a firm foothold then things like that become a lot easier. Plus you will win yourself £10-£15 million which helps significantly. But with your transfer budget you will probably struggle for the first season or two. But time will tell ;)

Actuallly if I recall, as Huddersfield my first season in the PL earnt me £10 million transfer budget. So roughly the same as yourself.

What's bizarre is that there were no goals after the 65 minute... meaning that there was a goal averaged every 5 minutes during that period! And it was 4-4 at half time.

Annoying I sold Mintou Kone to them a few seasons ago after he'd scored 41 in 39 in the Championship, and in the last 5 games against me he has scored 8 times! And he only scored in 3 of those 5.
