That's you as Kilmarnock? Would be nice finishing position. Also, do you get CL or Europa for that?

That will be a nice boost to your finances whichever one it is.

Shame your Liverpool career ended.

If it helps in the second season I am top of the league with:
played 13
points 37
won 12
drawn 1
goal difference of +22

After me it is Stoke on 30 points who have played a game more.

Steven Gerrard is the EPL top scorer with 9 goals, Borini 4th with 7 and Joe Allen has the best Average Rating of 8.11. :)

My form in Europe Champions League is pretty poor though.
played 5
points 6
won 1
drawn 3
lost 1

Tied in 2nd/3rd with Fenebache with FCP (who?) stoming it on 13 points.

In the Semi-Final of the capital cup - facing Chelsea.

Where is the FA Cup I can't see it on my fixture list? Edit: Ah, FA Cup is only at 2nd round.

Lost to that FCP team 2-1, out of UCL :(

FCP = Porto. They (SI) can't use the name as they don't have a licence to use it.

You get EL for second place, and 3 other teams below me get EL as well but they have to playoff for the privelege. I can't remember what sort of money is involved in EL. With CL it was superb - nearly a million for every win, £7 million to make the group stages and then millions more per advance. But the big money is in the TV rights. In the SPL it is pants! £600k for premiership rights! I was getting nearly £60 million in England.

So, a little update. I got sacked at the start of January. Was 10th, but in a group where a win would have put me 6th, so wasn't doing to badly.

Started a new game as Eastbourne Boro. Never got them to far so am hoping I can have a good game with them. Nice to have a team who actually take on board your team talks!

I am currently in the championship with Eastbourne Boro, it is 2024 though :D

Definatley haven't ticked the box in the options to only show real players faces, or to show no faces?

No, nothing changed there. I'm wondering if it's because I seem to have literally thousands more players showing up than any other game prior. It's really odd. Same large database, but I selected all leagues rather than just a few - although most are viewable only. Seems to have introduced tens of thousands of extra players in my searches. Never sure exactly what these options allow

Restart the game. They come back for me.

What has gone on in your rise to the Championship? Have they got a nice new stadium? What are the facilities like, and how are your finances?

I am now in the premier league after playing all day. Got through on the play offs via penalties.

They built a stadium which held 9k, we have just expanded it to fit 12k, it is still selling out. The board agreed to extend it a few weeks after the extension to 12k but could not afford it. Do not attempt to buy the stadium they start with, it can not be extended! My new stadium was built in 2018.

Finances are OK, I had around £8m at the start of the season and I managed to buy a striker for £4.3m. I have a bank loan ending in a few months which will free up 215k a month. I also have my main kit sponsorship and a general sponsorship ending this year so I should get a better deal now.

Wage budget is £149k, I think it was around £100k when I first got to the championship.

I have average training facilities, average youth facilites/coaching/recruitment. I have good corporate facilities.

Great, the board have just announced they are enlarging the stadium by 500 seats to comply with league requirements, the cost is £700k :(

First season in the premier league, initial budget is £12.15m and £180k a week.

Good work with EB - unfortunately I'd expect it will take you many years to grab a decent footing in the Premier League. The problem as you have already discussed is the size of the stadium and how many season tickets this will equate to. You will always be considered the under dog even if you do perform above expectations. I had exactly the same issue with Huddersfield and my last PL save as Bury. I got both into the PL and was winning but I was always bottlenecked by the stadium even after 20 years. The lack of funds simply meant a smaller transfer budget.

Some advice, as soon as you can get your training and youth facilities upgraded! Vitally important. The better facilities the quicker your youth will improve and your existing players will start to learn their PPM quicker. It really does make a big difference. Ask for more coaches and scouts. And also, a big essential, ask for a feeder club to improve your standing abroad! I can earn £3 million + per season just by merchandising from one feeder club.

I've just gone back to a save that I've not played since February... and have re-purchased my favourite player! Also just been given the England job too:

Cost £37m, which was my entire budget (at £10m down and £27m over 48 months) and had to offer him a 50% wage rise each year on a five year contract!!

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a player quite as good. I had one close, a Dutch striker who was simply amazing and I haven't been able to find anyone close since. But he doesn't have the stats of your chap. Although there is quite an age difference ;) My chap might turn out better ;D

The two would be amazing up front together - your player looks like an awesome deep lying forward. It's very weird going back to a save from 3 months ago, I have no recollection of all the regens and there are only about 100 real players left in the game!

Watching regens have long playing careers and then going into coaching roles is probably evidence that I've been playing for too long!
