So I won the league
Last two games, first one I won against 3rd place Milan 5-2. Last game vs Catania, and Roma (1 point behind) were playing 18th place Atalanta.
After 15 minutes my defense did a mistake, and I was 1-0 down. After 60 minutes, my DMC got a second yellow card, and they scored from the resultant free kick. 2-0.
Thankfully, Roma were losing 1-0 too.
I managed to claw one back (2-1) and Roma scored the equalizer (1-1). This means that we were both on 90 points, but I was in front because I won 3-0 in the league (other was a draw). In the 91st minute, they gave me a penalty, which I cooly slotted home! 2-2!
Champions of Italy, 1 point over Roma, who drew 1-1, and their opponents, Atalanta, got relegated, LOL!
Two of my players want huge pay rises.
Carlinhos (24 goals in 28 games + 10 sub) wants a rise from 65k/w to 150k/w and Naffiati wants a rise from 57k/w to 110k/w
I may give them a contract, then sell them off. They ain't too bad tbh, but still, their wage to attribute ratio will be too high

I made it to the npower championship and to my surprise even with my rubbish team look where I am in the table lol....
I only have a stadium capacity of 8,004 as well
mcmanus is the only one I paid for I got him for 600k when he was worth 1.4mil or so at the start of the season.
thompson was with me from the start I think when he was worth nothing and he's now worth 2.7mil :O

Had to laugh at that, not too far off his early Utd performances!
My keeper has had off days, example:
Sorry for the awful quality, but you can just about make it out. Their keeper hoofs it long, it bounces in front of my keeper, who gets his fingers to it but it still goes in.
Yeah one I've seen many times is when he dribbles it very slowly out of the box then literally gives it to the striker to slot past him. The lower league keepers are incredibly poor sometimes, they may as well not be there and give me another outfield player.
It's official, I am obsessed with the MLS, completed an in game year over the last 5 days and it's been so much fun. The weird way transfers work in this league really add an extra interesting dimension to the whole affair, sort of like how important home grown is in Europe, but there's no money to blow on the ones you want so you have to be really tight with contracts instead.

Need a starter GK primarily. Also need to freshen up my central defense. My starters are 34 and 32, and they need a change. I got a backup CB, who is 28, for 4.1M. I found another good CB for around 8M, but he is non-EU, and he will take up my last non-EU spot. I might move a DMC to CB, and buy a new DMC (got a few). Finally, I want a new striker. One who is consistent with AMAZING stats. Got one for around 20M, and some 230k/w wage

!Finally did something good at a team. I'll be in the Scottish first division next season which should be interesting... No chance of promotion straight up to the SPL though as Rangers are there and will probably win every single game like they did in division 2.

Who did you buy Malt?? I have seen that contract stuff happen a few times, I think it's down to reputation inflation, so if you are the worlds best guy and splash the cash the game sort of knows (well the agents do) and they try and get the most. I have fought back a few times though and refused their demands causing the player to ditch the agent because they want to sign for me.
Bit of an odd cycle but pretty funny to see happen.
Oh the development contract is like a hot prospect status, except it doesn't count for your international slots or wage cap (I think) though you can only have 4 in the squad. It's a little messy but very helpful to bulk out the squad as he's much better than the usual rubbish you have to draft in on these contracts.

I pretty much only got free players till now. 9 free players and an Italian defender (cover) for 4.1M. 2 of those frees went on loan. The rest are all in the first team.
I managed to beat Milan easily, 2-0. They were never close.
You know, I'm really not a person who splashes the cash though. I bought like 25M last year, and sold, I think, over 60M. I try to keep wages as low as possible. One player did sack his agent, but he still wanted a raise from 57k/w to 110k/w. Not really arsed about them tbh
Now, keepers. I found a few keepers, but I have no idea who I want most from them. All come with varying prices and stuff, so help me out here.
Augusto - ~9M, - ~30k wages
Angulo - 12M - 50k wages
Rudd - 31.5M - 150k wages - EU NATIONAL
Akyel - 13-18M - no idea wages
Frank - Negotiating on price - EU NATIONAL
Geriteen - 15M - 60k wages - EU NATIONAL
Kraft - Last offer at 31.5M
Salusitiano (one for the future, to start being used now) - 7.5M - 35k wages - EU NATIONAL
I'm tempted to just get Rudd. He's the best, and while he is expensive, I feel that he can be worth it. He is an EU national, which is a plus.
Damn, if he was 15M this would be so easy.
Personally Salustiano would be my choice, write of this season a little and give him 30 odd games to get good as he looks decent.
Having said that for immediate impact Kraft is a monster (and will do 5 good seasons no problem) or Aykel who should be a penalty saving god.

I'm doing this and I'm out.They wanted 55M for Kraft, which I obviously I didn't give in to.
I'll try for Aykel for less than 15M, if that fails, I will go for Salustiano.

Took over man city to get in to the game and might go back and try unemployed start again at some point. For now tho, I've been building a nice squad and won the Champs League 3 times and the prem 4. This season tho, Celtic and Valencia knocked me out 3rd so I will be trying to add uefa cup to trophy list. All original team is out except Hart/Kompany/Toure. Bought Neymar, Wilshere, Bale, Messi (150 million over 24 months for shirt sales boost [board moans if no big signing]), Daniel De Rossi, Mario Gotze. Also brought in some youngsters and almost brand new staff.
