***** Official Football Manager 13 Thread *****

Managed to get back to back promotions :D Intense season with the top 3 being within 5 points pretty much the whole season. I only won on goal difference and would have finished second if it wasn't for a penalty in the 92nd minute on the last day of the season.

We are also having under-soil heating installed which is going to cost £7.6M and take 10 months :eek: Sharing grounds with Dundee while that is done.

I go away for a few days and come to back to see Murray has finally gotten some promotions under his belt!! :p amazing stuff!

Not bad! I never managed to play the MLS well.

Didn't play today. Went to the beach then a mate came and we played FIFA. Working from 6.30 am till midnight, then the next day 7am till midnight. Might manage to leave a bit early, around 10, but I won't have any time to play.

Gonna be shattered. Its 00:25, and I have to be up at 5.30
 
Thinking of starting a new game in the BPL. Currently pondering over whether to pick Everton or Liverpool... Got tired of going bigger teams like Man City and Man United, want a real challenge this time while having a half decent transfer budget.

I still hate the game but like hearing of you guys with your challanges and story updates, for me it is unplayable but I am hoping FM 14 grips me or someone else brings something out to challenge FM.
 
I've been ridicuously bored of late so decided to get back into FM. Loaded up my Spurs league which is into my 3rd season, I came 2nd, 1st and finished 2nd by one point and won the FA and League Cup. I had Lewandowski, Isco, Gundogen, Honda, Bernard to name a few but I was struggling to accomdate them all. Isco was very disapointing.

SAF retired at the end of the 3rd season and Man U offered me the job, I had a long think and due to the fact they had Neymar, Lamela, Hamsik and some other good players I thought why not. Brought in El Sharrwary, Insigne and some good potential rejens and I sit comfortably at the top of the league despite losing to City on the opening day at home and then drawing with Southampton :p
 
Haha, never noticed the minute, duh, just looked back, yeah it glitched, both penalties were the same.

Far too easy in that season, won everything. Gonna have another season then leave and go for a lower league team for a challenge. Annoying as I've left the club in a ridiculously good position, my u19's are all 5* pot.
 
So since last update, won Premiership & UEFA cup. Next season - Lost the last game of the season just there to sugar daddy Newcastle so Man U won league by 2 points (all i need was a draw - damn) but did exact revenge by beating Newcastle in Champs league final in penalties. Anyway, sold Neymar to Barca for 45 MIL, Gotze to chelsea 48 MIL, Kompany retired, Yusuf Silin to Bayern 32.5 MIL, german 22yo Spinner to Bayern 21 MIL, Brazilian 24yo Alexandre to Bayern 45 MIL. Gotta make that money back from Messi, eh..

Just won club world champ again, cruising in the Prem and lost one group game in champs league.

So some quality players I have brought up in my squad are + key players:

It's the most unused in modern football! Real life I have never seen a proper sweeper, I would love to buy him up and make a formation revolving round the sweeper function (excuse to have proper wingbacks and everything).

MLS dream is more important though... for now!
