After I lost my saves I went back to Hoffenheim, haven't managed to play a league game with them yet but I did manage to put the £4,000,000 transfer budget to good use, signing Zimmermann for the first team and some random 17 year old Austrian midfielder with 17 flair and some other high stats, got him for a bargainlicious £8,000 and plan on loaning him out. I'm going to balance the books by selling Marvin Compper who has only 12 months left on his contract anyway. Dortmund are interested in him for £3,500,000 and I have enough quality defenders so he can leave.

Hoping to finish inside the top three as outside of Bayern and Dortmund there aren't any other teams I'm concerned about. Leverkusen have about three good players and Schalke are just Huntelaar and a bunch of rubbish. :p
 

First game of the season. I concede this goal.

It was a really slow pass, not sure how it kept on going in lol. Was fuming though, as it was a mistake my team did, but the match engine.

shouting at the monitor and kicking the cat seems to be working wonders in my Partick Thistle save after ending up 2nd bottom of the league after 8 games I've rallied to 3rd into the 5th round of the Scottish cup and won the challenge cup :)
 
Inconsistency at its best!

Zwolle are not that good. Both goals came the same way. They shot, goalkeeper blocked it, the player follows it up with a rebound and scores.

My 4 goals came all from 2 players, 2 from Bola, 2 from my new striker. he came for free, but has a wage of 7.5k/w. To give you and idea, i sold a player with 5.7k/w wage because he had a too high wage, and my second highest wage now is less than 5k.
 
Ive put in many hours into this game and its just to hard and unpredictable. I think if this is how the future of fm is going to be im not buying another. I dont want to be forced into using shouts to save a game i should win easily, I like to stick to one tactic and not fuss with it every single game... the other teams should be panicing and trying to counter me not me trying to counter them.

Plays with 9 men against Vitesse for 45 minutes...

EDIT: Cup game after that. Changed the whole team and played my reserves. They were winning 1-0. I put in my best 2 strikers (Bola and Kaludjerovic) and then i put in Bessa. Bola passed to Kaludejrovic to pull the game level. In half time, Bessa shoots from far out, Kaludejrovic runs past one defender, making him look slower than Merteschaker (sp) to score the winner.

3 subs that influenced the result. Not bad eh? :)

P.S. I sold a player, Jabbeur because I felt his wage was too high (5.75k/w) and then i got Kaludjerovic, with a wage of 7.75k/w. He did score 4 goals in 7 games (3 starts, 4 from the bench). Not bad.

^^ niceeee! That's pretty impressive.


Turns out the jump from BSP to L2 is HUGE and I am struggling to get players in, especially when I have 7k per week to play with :(

Next game was against Feyenoord. Bola got injured after a few minutes, but I still managed to score 2 in the first 45 minutes. My team then crumbled, and we conceded 2 sloppy goals (a back pass, which found their striker all alone, who tramped it in, FIFA style, and then an own goal from a corner.) Put them on overload, and i conceded the 3rd. Needless to say, i was mad.
 
Started a proper game with QPR...I mean seriously, how hard can they make it?!?! 3 Poor keepers who have high Eccentricity numbers, Cesar rushes out and Green can't catch a ball. Transfer deadline been and gone, boosted my team with some good players that were REALLY needed.

I also signed some winger cheap and loaned him out straight away as he is 21 and damn good stats for age!

So...now...I need a top notch goaly on loan!

Doesnt matter what goalie you have 90% of the time they are useless.
 
Currently on another 9 match losing streak. Have scored one in that time and currently awaiting the sack. Again.
 
Managed to finish 5th with Fulham in the third season :eek: No idea how I did it, as my team was relatively similar to that of my previous season where I narrowly escaped relegation.

Loads of regens/newgens in the team now. Some very interesting things are happening now. Wilfred Zaha (with Fulham) is now awesome, Arsenal have just put in a £20m bid for Jordan Rhodes and Darren Bent has scored 29, 29 and 33 league goals in 3 seasons!

I reckon my decent season was based on a couple of players starting to reach potential (Adryan, Zaha, Wellington Nem) and a very decent loan signing in Javi Garcia from Man City.

Got A LOT of generated players joining this summer, and also a couple of top players on freebies... just in time for my assault on Europe.

Oh, and I quit my job (in real life) so will be putting in the hours before Christmas! :D
 
Inconsistency :/

Cup game, helmond Sport have won 1 game in the whole league up to now (and 1 draw).
