If anything the patch has been better for me..

My United team now has an impregnable defense.

I've not conceded at all in the last 8 games, and scored 3 or more goals in each game, apart of course from the usual nonsense FA cup game, where it doesn't matter who or where you are playing or who you pick in the side the first FA cup game each season will ALWAYS go to extra time and or penalties.

Things I've noticed, the midfielders are now far more composed, wingers fire more crosses in, goal keepers are a lot better, I was conceding no end of goals off the post or flying over the keepers head before.

Mine has just finished downloading through Steam, I probably should have waited until the inevitable Christmas sale but I'm impatient. I'm guessing everyone is using the logo packs from 2011 still? :)

Yep. :) Only 2012-13 graphics I'm using are the new kit packs, for obvious reasons.

Cool, I might try a different logo pack this year. Last year I had this really nice reflective badge pack but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I need to change the competition names ASAP as well! :D

Not sure which team to start as, I won't be playing for decades, I might pick Southampton with a view to being offered the Arsenal job at some stage.

Competition names fix - http://sortitoutsi.net/downloads/view/932/fm13-real-names-fixes-file-beta

Looks like it's been updated since I downloaded it and it now incorporates the international kits fix. :)

Having it crash a few times at the moment (most recent one was the same problem Tummy had above). Very annoying as I was finally getting a good run together, now have to replay the opening 6 games of the season where I'd originally taken 6 points from an opening three of Man City, Arsenal and Newcastle :(

Do you guys get really attached to your teams? I have. My Crewe team is just...I love it!

Just earned promotion through an EPIC Playoff event! 1-1 against Bristol away, 1-0 in the final minute of the 2nd half of extra time to clinch the final place. Then 2-0 against Derby in the final. EPIC Feeling. 2nd season in charge and I gain promotion into top flight...wow...

I do, especially if we've gone through a promotion/relegation together. Bit sad, I know.

Not sad at all :p Like I said, I'm attached to my Crewe team and players...took 2 seasons to get into Prem...Now this is where the real Football Manager starts :D

Oh no, the real football manager is the lower leagues. Anyone can do well witl millions to spend.

Any one else noticed since the patch injuries are a joke? First season in prior to patch had one or two im 6 games into second season all of which were played once patch was applied i have the following out injured:-

Enrique,Gerrard,Johnson,Henderson,Lucas,Kelly Borini and suarez only just returned, Holtby i signed first game in is crocked for 2months!!

EDIT: Sterling now also injured so that's all my first team effectively out all long term too so ill probably end up losing everything and be jobless

So...sat in the Prem...ballsed up big time...Looked at my team pre-season and had only enough players for first 11 and 7 subs...Went through all the released and just signed half decent guys. Signed 2 new players for first team, Jason Steele and Lenny Nangis.

I've just started a new game as Hoffenheim. I wanted to manage in the Bundesliga mainly because real players don't get called up to the German side and I just fancied having a stab in a competitive league. I let my ass man take control of pre-season and he managed to steer us to a win, a draw and three defeats. I took over at the start if the season and promptly won the first round of the German Cup against a truly horrific third tier side from Berlin, then went on to record Bundesliga victories against Frankfurt, Bremen, Wolfsburg and Dusseldorf. Quite enjoying it so far and it's a nice little bonus that Hoffenheim are a rich club with no Euro distractions for the first season, gives me time to get rid of some crap and replace with good young German players. :)

2 words...Marco Reus ;):D By far my favourite German player in the world right now! He will cost you an absolute fortune with him being a Dortmund, but by god he is EPIC in real life...

Who needs Reus when you have Kevin Volland already?! 4.5 star potential and can play RAM or ST. :D

I really need a backup left winger and a new striker. Eren Derdiyok is currently the best striker at the club and he's only good at being a target man which makes him useless most of the time with the way I set my side up. I haven't managed to have a proper look at strikers yet but I'm considering bids for Carlos Fierro and Alexander Esswein and then selling Derdiyok in the summer. I need more cash first though and I'm just assuming I'll be given more in December. I started with a £4,000,000 budget and blew £3,500,000 on Hoffman who has been incredible so far.

Sheffield Wednesday are ****ing terrible on FM13, if anyone wants an almost certainly doomed job have a go.

I'm going to give them a go this weekend as I have Sunday free :)
