14.2.1 patch is out. Beware, the changelist is massive!

Just trying to install the update but can't run it now. In steam, downloaded it and not it states completing installation but is stuck at 2% then returns a steam error that the servers are too busy, error code 16! Argh...very frustrating.

I've been in Skrill Premier a fair amount, and my budgets have gone completely messed up because of the money I was able to make.
Got players who are wanting 8K a week LOL.

I'm spending over 40k per week as it is.
 
Is it worth £20 for classic mode? I missed the likes LMA Manager because it was.....well simpler. Not picky. I don't care what kinda training you do on a thursday afternoon, and stuff like that. Classic mode seems to be my answer. Thoughts?

Yeah, I'd say it definitely is. Classic is just a streamlined mode of FM. All the core elements are still there, with just the time consuming stuff taken out (press conferences etc).

The only real downside I can see, from my own point of view - and the reason I don't use it, is the amount of leagues you can run. I tend to run with about 18 countries and about 28 leagues, which you can't do with FM Classic.

You can on 14.

There's an option when picking the leagues to turn off the restriction which allows you to pick as many as you like, I did it the other day to try FMC.

EDIT: Posted an image of the screen and down the bottom right, where it says 'Remove nation and league restrictions', tick that and add as many leagues as you like :)

It's coming up as a huge image so put it in a spoiler to save peoples screen being stretched.

Does anyone's FM go to a 'not responding' mode on startup? Mine does it for a minute and then eventually works. Pretty annoying!

What you need to do it sub to it in the workshop.
go to FM menu > Downloads > workshop tab and then install it.

should then show up under the change skin option.
