Yo Tummy. How much did Marquinhos, Balanta, Romero, Pogba and Depay cost ya? Must have had to sell Smalling and Fellaini to Newcastle to raise some funds. :p

Were all those transfers in the first season or some in the second as well? How much did you get for Smalling and Fellaini?

Hey bro! Umm I'll have to double check as the game is saved on my PC! I'll update after the second half of the Chelsea vs. Southampton match :p (about an hour)

Off the top of my head, I got Balanta for £7.5 million (£2 million up front with £5.5million over 48 months), Romero was the same, Depay was £25 million (his goal scoring record is insane, at least 1 a game, I'll try and grab some screen shots) and Marquinhos was about £20million.

Pogba was second season and cost a fortune :(, £62 million with (I think) another 8 in add ons (after so many appearances).

I sold Smalling first season for about £10 million, Fellaini for about £17.5 second season.

Depay scored 30 goals in 32 games in the League during his first season, second season as of February has scored 23 in 18 :cool:.
 
Is the match engine fixed? quit playing because of how atrocious 2014 was but saw this for £10 and had me tempted but everything I can find just tells me this game is ridiculous for goals and tbh looking at your 13-2 score line they seem to be correct.
 
Won Conference North with 10 games to spare.
Board want me to win Conference Premier first time..... That's a bit naff. I've got the squad to do it, but that's not the point.

At the moment I'm only 10 games in, 5 points behind top. I've got the highest GD, and arguably the best strikers in the league. The loan system at Conference Premier seems horrendously broken.

Most of my team is rated as leading Conference Premier/Good League 2 with a few being rated for league 1.

I managed to stem the bleed of money too, as I lost about 300K in the Conference North when the club went pro in my second season.

Promotion to League 2 and then some heavy stabilisation should make me financially secure, as long as the board don't start expecting miracles, when all I want to do is spend like a decade in the lower leagues building the infrastructure.

My top striker in the Conference North scored 33 goals in 35 games :p

I've played it since 2013 and I've never seen a win as high as that. Sure, I do get the odd 5-1 or 5-2 but I've not had anything like that.

I've played Football Manager (Champ Manager) since '97. I am just godlike on this game ;).

I've only ever had a couple of results ever as high as that though, it was a stunning attacking performance (annoyed that I conceded two goals though) and Newcastle have been universally horrific in my second season.

I am not of the opinion that this years match engine is considerable worse than the last couple of years, nor a massive improvement.
 
But how many players can you find in the game that can still put in the types of performances/goal ratio at that age, even with the high wage and the high transfer fee it's really worth getting him if your a Man Utd fan, i did have to sell RVP/Nani//Hernandez/Anderson/Carrick/Young to be able to afford him but it really is worth it because he can do 30/40+ goals every season when being played upfront on his own, put it this way i brought him in 2015/2016 (current season 20/21) to which he has made 141 apps leading to 136 goals.

Oh no, I totally understand that point. It's just like, you could get two 60 million players (and have change) whom last 10-15 seasons.

I'll pick Ronaldo up at some point, but not for 100+ million :p.

Plus Neymar is a good shoutb (with mega bucks) as he has low age and amazing natural fitness too. Tried to sign messi for a goldn oldie(ish) trio of messi, neymar and ronaldo, but messi wanted too much in wages. (ronaldo gets like £150k app fee)

How many Man U players kept on Falcao?
